    I am very dissatisfied with how teachers interacts with prek students.

    Terrible since former Principal Rowan left. Academics has degraded. Food is terrible & staff can be very rude (mostlyu Principal Payne).

    The school is great because students are made to feel that they can accomplish anything! The principal sets high expectations for all and provides a path for them to meet the expectations.

    The school has really improved, and is now one of the highest performing elementary schools in the district. The curriculum is rigorous and students have many incentives to learn. The principal and teachers really care about student progress. I am grateful to have my child in this school. Cherokee is a great presence in the Orange Mound community.

    Loving teachers active parents great curriculum encourages safety an learning an growth I love both my sun teachers . I recommend this school for elementary students
