My child experienced the worst school year by far during her education so far. Principal and assistant principal are very unprofessional. Teachers are fighting each other. Staff are rude. Learning is not a priority. Celebrating achievements are a joke for these administrators.

Learning This school does not teach your children. The students are on their phones during the day and recording the issues of that they are having with the teacher.TeacherThe teachers/administrators are so unprofessional. Instead of teaching our children, they are helping encourage he say she say. They know more about what’s going on with dating or who wants to fight who then the child’s education. The assistant principal believes in her heart that she is untouchable. She is rude and does not care if you showing her proof for your child. Not to mention per her statement we are teaching our children to be thugs by their clothing and how their hairstyles. This woman needs to replaced as soon as possible.SafetyThis school pushed children off the property as soon as the school end and if a child is on the other side of the street they will receive a 5 day suspension. They don’t want to be responsible for your child at all.Family Engagement You can give up on finding information out about your child. Just wait til they get home.

I was riding by the school yesterday and I seen a young man with a a group of students. He had them working out and also he had them running. Good to see how many boys signed up for the after school program or sport. I would most definitely want my son to come to the school and participate on what ever sport or activity that was. Good to see a young man making a difference with the boys!!

This was a terrible learning experience for my 7th grader. We transferred to this school from out of district when I moved for work. It was the worst educational experience of my child's life.

Kirby Middle School has been re-zoned as part of the Achievement School District and as of the 2016-2017 school year, is now run by Green Dot Charter Schools. It has an excellent, involved staff, invested leadership, and a focus on student success. It offers a supportive environment with a focus on setting high expectations of the students. There are great things to come from the new Kirby.

I worked for this school as a Teacher. This must be the worst school in Memphis. The students are unruly, loud, disrespectful and uninterested in work. The principal, let's just say that. she wears blue lipstick; that should tell you everything.

hay im Jasmine in Kirby is a good school to be honest Kirby isn't so bad its the students not teachers! Kirby is a place for teaching in LEARNING so in other words don't BELIEVE the rumors!!
