Pungoteague Elementary is a very diverse school that does a great job in differentiating instruction. The school puts students' success first. Each and every student is treated as an individual and has all the resources available to them to help them succeed. Great school!

Pungoteague is a great school with a lot of heart. Students come first and the caring is obvious when you walk through the doors and students are greeted by name and with a smile by everyone! As th parent of a special needs child, I have been delighted with the education that my child is receiving at PES.

This is our 4th year at Pungoteague Elementary. I'm impressed everyday with the investment that the staff make in the education of our kids. They are the most dedicated, supportive group of people and are always willing to talk with parents. Every school has it's issues but it matters to us that a school is willing to admit to those issues and work to improve them. This school feels like a community and my children are happy at Pungoteague. If you're looking for a school, take the time to visit the schools and ask questions. Look at the data, talk to other parents, but you must form your own opinion and the only way to do that is to visit the schools and talk to the staff.

My children (twins) were placed into this school due to we moved and this is the district we were forced to put our children here. I am very upset as to how my children have been treated by staff, bullying and admin. staff. My girl was jumped by 3 boys on the bus and nothing was done about it. And my son has been bullied over and over. I have had to replace 3 pair of eye glasses and now have to drive my children to school each day due to can not feel comfortable letting my children riding the buses. As of today I had to pull my children out of this school due to the bullying....and nothing was said and no one really cares. I am forced now to get an attorney to protect my children againist this school.
