My son just finished his first year at Unqua and we are very happy. The staff has been amazing. The school has provided wonderful social events and opportunities for the kids.

Meh. It's not terrible but it's worth the taxes in the area. My daughter now goes to Park Avenue instead, supposedly a terrible school but so far we like it better than Unqua. Unqua is a very un-diverse school in every meaning of that word; it can be very easy to feel isolated by the tight PTA community. The administration was okay, I wish they dealt with the bullying a bit better. Finally, I will admit that most of the teachers were pretty great.

The school community is extremely cliquey and it is very easy to get "outcasted." Students here also tend to be very coddled.

The school is great. I was here until 2012 as a student. Teachers are full of fun. Though they may be strict at times but they make it fun. The staff is so nice. Principals are great. The worst teacher I had was the music teacher. This school would get 6 stars if she was not there.

I went here from 2002 to 2009. my Kindergarten, 1st, 4th, and all 5 of the 6th grade teachers were awesome. The 2nd grade teacher was a bit too advanced (she taught all this political stuff around the 2004 election, I got so confused!), my 3rd grade teacher was kinda mean, and so was my 5th grade (but she was sooo funny!). The principal was the best, while some other staff weren't. The students were very good, too. Parents were very involved. Problems: the EC's weren't, like, made noticeable... almost no cultural diversity kids move on to the not-so-great Berner MS.
