Lanier is a school that has a family feel. The teachers and principals truly care for the students. Three of my children have gone through or still attend Lanier and we have had a great experience with each of them.

We have loved every moment at Lanier. I have never seen such a caring, loving environment. Teachers are passionate and they love their students. They strive to make school fun and inviting!

Love the small class sizes. More one on one time. Easy pick up and drop off. Lots of parent involvement and extra (optional) activities.

I moved my kids to Lanier after a horrible experience with Carpenters Elementary. Best move I have made. The principal and teachers treat you like family not a test score. My children love this school, they wake up every morning excited for school. I'm proud of this elementary school they just made the top 5% for the whole state of Tennessee.

What a joke of a school It needs new leadership that cares for the children. If you walk the halls and seek attention from the staff your in....But if you as a parent just want your kids to learn your out of luck at this school.Someone higher up needs to (check) this school cause things are not run the right way.Move or go to school board on this school, your kids will be better off.

If I could I would remove my kids and take them elsewhere, we wish we had more options. We like some of the teachers, but as a whole, it's not a good school.

We've experienced multiple issues with how poorly the school is managed. There are good teachers there, but leadership is top down, and they are in serious need of new leadership. Plus all the problem kids are rarely removed while your kid suffers. A very very backward school. Almost no sports or music programs either. No technology either, way behind the other schools in the county.

This school has no clue how to teach. My kids went here and they were making Ds and Fs, but now that they changed schools they are making As and Bs. People I talk to in the community also noticed the same for their children, unless you give money or time to this school, expect your children to fail. I think this school should be put on investigation by the state. If you have other options for schools in the area, take them.

To be honest, I am surprised this school is still open and had not been shut down yet

Lanier is a great school, they have great teachers and a great principle. I am very pleased with my children's education they are receiving there.
