    My 2nd grade child was hit in the face by another student while they were in the lunch line. The teacher on duty and SRO officer were not in attendance as they should have been. The Principal and assistant principle tried to cover the incident up by saying my son was hit by a basketball. When video evidence an other student testimony proved otherwise the principle accused my son of threatening students in the line. NO student confirmed this accusation and even testified that my son did nothing to provoke the attack. The student who hit my son had a history of striking other students in the past yet nothing was done keep this kind of behavior from occurring. I immediately removed my child from this school and he is now in the Blount County school system and is excelling. I would strongly discourage anyone from enrolling their children in this school under the current leadership.

    This school has no diversity. Anyone who tries to introduce new ideas into the student body is immediately singled out and if you don't conform to their preconceived ideas you will have a terrible experience.
