I have been involved with this school for a few years and I can say that families feel very welcome. The teachers & staff are always willing to go above & beyond to help make people feel included. Class sizes are on the smaller side with the average being 18-20 students. The teachers communicate regularly. The school report card shows that students are making huge gains in growth. The community is diverse & students are able to experience real world dynamics in the classrooms. The school building itself is beautiful & well kept. Definitely a hidden gem!

I have been a teacher at Marshall Elementary School since my graduation from UWEC in 1998. While I grew up in central Wisconsin, I found the Marshall area to be a welcoming place. This year is my 24th year as a third/fourth/fifth grade teacher. My husband and I raised four children here, 3 graduated and one is a senior. We also have two grandchildren in the district. While this school and community have dealt with challenges over the years, the love and attention that our own children and the students of Marshall Elementary receive is second to none in my experience. Children and families are welcomed in the school, cared for, and taught well. The staff is involved in extensive professional development and strong teams are evident at all levels. This year, the elementary school received an "exceeds expectations" score on the state report card--for closing gaps for our diverse learning community. I'm proud to be a grandparent, parent, and teacher of in such a wonderful district.

Excellent school. Very welcoming. Teachers are very supportive and communicate regularly. The school has wonderful resources from technology to support staff. I would recommend you take a tour. You will not be disappointed.

The secretary is rude and disrespectful. They have a strict policy for being sick which I understand. But they do not have a distance learning program in place incase a student tests positive or was in close contact. The kid would just have to play catch up when they are allowed back at school. The lunches they provide are not good and healthy foods.

I love Marshall Elementary. My daughter is thriving, her teacher is absolutely wonderful. I get messages and updates all the time. I couldn't be happier with her education.

They have gone from amazing to a shame in just a few years.

This school should notify parents of outbreaks that happen anywhere in the school, not just if an outbreak occurs in their child's classroom. Kids share the same playground, toilets, gym room, lost n found, lunch room, etc.
