Pleasant High School is the absolute best high school in Marion County. It is the school of voice for professional parents. It has educated 4 of my family members: a lawyer, a psychologist, a law student, and a marketing executive. It is safe and challenging. Highly recommended.

I currently attend this school, and I think that for the most part it is ok, although I am concerned for my future. I have been at this school for maaaany years, and I haven't learned that much in 1 year. First of all, my fifth grade learning experience in History, Science, and English was in my opinion horrible. I was not taught anything in history and it effected my in sixth grade very hard. Thank you for listening to my review, and good day.

Phenomenal! My child went through a major medical issue this year as a Freshman the educational support from the school was above and beyond to meet his new physical disability needs upon short notice to facilitate him maintaining his academics abilities. His classmates are intelligent, compassionate young adults, a true reflection on this school and family community!

I have had 2 children at Pleasant High School. One graduated and is a college senior, and the other is a junior still at the school. We moved here to be in this school district. It provides a pastoral, rule setting and a private school environment, random drug testing, tobacco-free campus, numerous upper level, PSEO and college-credit classes, and plenty of extra-curricular activities. It has wide range of athletics, an excellent theatre program, and a choir the consistently receives the highest marks in statewide competitions. All the schools are on one campus, which is very convenient of you have multiple age-range students. Many seniors leave at 11 to take college credit courses at Marion Tech or Ohio State-Marion, both in Marion. The school has an effective anti-bully policy, a new academic integrity policy, and a solid athletic director who keeps over-eager parents in check. The school consistently rates the highest in the county on all state tests.
