I would steer clear! There is so much violence. Fights are a daily occurrence and there is not enough discipline or consequences for the behaviors. It was great in the younger years but my child was scared to go to school on a regular basis! I think most teachers are trying their best but so much of the day is aimed at trying to deal with the behaviors that not much gets done. Call me crazy but after so many suspensions for violence kids should be expelled so that other kids can feel safe at school!!

We've been very happy with our experiences at Oak View so far. The teachers, staff, and administration have been friendly and great to work with, and the school spirit is fantastic. There are always opportunities to volunteer and get involved, and I've enjoyed working with and getting to know the other parents. My child cannot wait to go to Oak View each day, and has built many friendships this year!

Administration and Teachers are amazing. I always feel welcome to express any concerns or positive feedback. I feel my kids are supported and an important part of the Oak View community. PTO strongly supports the academic enrichment of our kids through many community building and fundraising events.

Oak View is not parent friendly. Most teachers - not all - but most do not make an effort to really get to know the student or the family. Even the front desk staff is cold.

oak view is big there are nice teacher and great students. I like field time its really good. the lunch the no bulling rule no body deserves to be bullied no matter what.
