    This school is so completely obsessed with how the students perform in MCAS that little else matters. Children who have any needs outside the norm are left to flounder because the SPED Dept has no idea how to perform proper evaluations or write proper reports for evals requested by parents. On time team meetings? Doesn't happen. By the time staff at this nightmare of a school recognize and deal with an issue with a child, it is time for them to move on to middle school. Given that perfectly "normal" kids will do fine, this school needs to pull their heads out of the sand and provide FAPE to each and every student, regardless of their individual needs, in that school from their 1st day of grade 3 to their last in grade 5. They have a new assistant vice principal whose sloppy supervision, lack of honesty and scare tactics leave much to be desired. Parents who are part of the in crowd seem to be the only ones welcomed to volunteer here.
