The first year my daugter went to school here in 2nd grade, it broke my heart because every day she said she had no friends. Finally by 3rd grade she found her little group of kids to hang out with. It took awhile though.

Weston school is a horrible school. The teachers are below average, and the administration is weak at best. We are constantly getting reports from the teachers that our kids are not doing well in the school, and they have concerns about our kids moving on the next grade. Yet, our kids know the material when we ask them and are very smart. They are teaching this new "Core" math at the school, which is a nationwide failure. The program has the school teaching math is a very difficult way and hard for the kids to pick up. Google this math program and you will see the many negative reviews for this. If I had the ability to xfer my kid out of the school, I would in a heartbeat. Signed A concerned parent

Weston is a great school, I worked here in the afternoons as the site director for the YMCA after school program. The principal was very accommodating, the music and gym teachers are also very accommodating. These teachers put a lot of time and effort into the quality of the school. There is always a function going on at the school too whether it is basketball, open houses or the phenomenal talent show they do every year. I would send a child to this school!

I am a 4th grade student at Weston and this school has been a bad experience for me. The library has almost no books that i want because every kid renews them over and over and over again! Talk about crazy! The lunch is horrible. I mean horrible. I can't belive that kids can eat this junk. The teachers are quite average. My teacher Mr.Menswar makes learing just easy enough for everyone. They also have events such as Bingo night. THEY ALWAYS PICK PEOPLE THAT HAVE A MILLION TICKETS! I think this school is bad and for starters it could be an cheap option but like i said this school is bad.

When I moved into the neighborhood in 1997, Weston had a great reputation. I attended PTO when my child started in 2003 and the parental involvement was high and there was general satisfication with the school. Then a couple of large multi-family housing complexes were built and completely change the school's demographics. Parental involvement went from high to very low. The rental housing was tax negative and came out of the school budget. We ended up moving in 2011 because the quality of education had dropped so dramatically.
