The city of Manchester is a kind of business center located near the state capital. Here are the main highways connecting such large cities as Springfield, Hartford, Providence and then Boston. It has large shopping centers, next to Hartford, various and rapidly developing business centers, excellent restaurants, many beautiful houses and excellent roads, as well as beautiful parks with beautiful nature in all seasons. I myself have lived in Connecticut since 2015, and for the last 4 years in Middletown. And at the moment I am buying my dream house in Manchester at a favorable offer and I hope that my daughter will become a worthy student of this school and will successfully graduate in 4 years. I believe that the success of children depends not only on the school, but also on the parents themselves, who, working together with teachers, must guide children into adulthood with the right guidelines, and so that children become disciplined and purposeful in order to fulfill their childhood dreams in we will be. And I really hope that I am not mistaken in my choice, and the city of Manchester will become my favorite home! And therefore I will give five stars to the MHS school with great hope for the future that it will live up to my hopes!

This school is the biggest cesspool in town! Staff members in the office are extremely rude. Teachers have no clue what students are, nor do they know where the students are half the time. There needs to be some cleaning!

IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE.It was heartbreaking seeing people observing the graduation ceremony outside the fence. The open football field was barely a quarter filled, but people were denied entry simply because they had no tickets handy. It's understandable if the ceremony was held in the auditorium for capacity reasons. Thursday's ceremony was outside in the open. If MHS had given out tickets so everybody could have a seat, you got it wrong. There were so many people who didn't get seats. So what was the point of denying people entrance to an open field ceremony. Shame on you!!!One lady at the gate couldn't give a hoot even if you had a good explanation why you had no tickets. She shooed you off right away. When an individual shows up at your gate, it means they sacrificed their time to do other things inorder to come and attend a ceremony of a loved one, friend or family member, or to simply enjoy the ceremony. MHS, have a heart next time and let people celebrate a simple happy graduation ceremony. It's human courtesy to be kind.

Both my husband and I have been very Happy at MHS. If your student is a conscientious and hardworking student, they and you will love it. My student has been able to take college classes for credit, been invited to take classes at Manchester Community College, and has many other academic opportunities that aren't offered at other high schools. The athletic programs have been great with many choices in sports! We strongly believe it is the PARENTS responsibility to teach their child hardworking and respectful! MHS can help your student succeed with the rest!

I would rate my exirence at this school with poor judgement.I say this because students need to be more mature In the cafe and they need to stop touching each other because school is not A place to make other people upset for nothing.Students need to sit and work hard that's the main priority and I don't feel safe when students have to fight and get suspensions for no reason

in the reviews for MHS, note how many times reference is made to how CROWDED it is. (See Bill Gates,Caroline Kennedy, and others). Overcrowded and outdated curriculums are not conducive to learner. CT is at the top for richest state in this country...get another high school Manchester! Spend some of all that money on public school improvements-teach them how to think-not what to think!!!!! My son was is an excellent charter school before we moved to CT. Let me say: I regret the move(because of the school).By the way:we moved from "down south" and i've found the "up-north intelligence" is a myth. I'm not pleased with MHS.

I graduated in 1978 from MHS. It was indeed a different world back then. I am glad that the students are blessed to have stable, tenured teachers and class and extracirricular offerings that surpass the imagination. Having lived in California for the last 28 years, NONE of those factors are guaranteed! Out here, our teachers have contracts that are not renewed, classes which MHS required have been cut, such as Phys. Ed. No art, no music. You guys don't know how lucky you are to have what MHS offers! When I went there, I was very unhappy and did not participate as a result. Indeed, like most things, you get out of something what you put in. If I were back there now, going to school, I would be ever so grateful to have available to me what MHS offers. I just didn't know what was available to me back all those years ago. My advise is, kids, please make the most out of this place! You will NEVER have an experience like this ever again in life. PLEASE ENJOY NOW while you have MHS's opportunities.
