This is an outstanding school in town. Great neighborhood where all the kids are succeeding. The equity and diversity in the school is great and no child is left behind.

This school caters to only the behaviorally challenged kids that need extra help. The good kids are not challenged and 'held back' from making real strides in their education. The weaker kids lower the bar for the rest of the kids.

Excellent school! Our son was at a private school for 2 years, but we were not happy with their approach. His advanced reading and math skills were not encouraged or furthered after kindergarten, so there was no reason to pay tuition and get nothing in return.The principal at Buckley is amazing -- energetic, smart and ready to work towards what's best for the kids and the parents. Also, the 2nd and 3rd grade teachers are doing a great job!

In my personal experience, this is one of the great school i ever seen. I really dont agree with the current ratings of this school. This should be some where in 8 or 9 range. Teacher's over here take atmost care of the student equivalent to parents. I would strongly recommend every parents to consider this option if you have a chance. Best of Luck!

Buckley school has introduced a dedicated science teacher to teach 3-5 grades and this is showing good motivation in students already.

This school has great academic program emphasizing on Reading and Math which are critical for primary school students. The staff is excellent and student teacher ratio is low. We constantly get the feedback on our son's progress which keeps us motivated to take appropriate actions. Principal has a great vision and he is an excellent leader.

My daughter's teacher is outstanding and emphasizes a 'stress-free classroom,' both to the students and parents. I am grateful for the very positive learning enivornment she has. She is challenged based on her strengths and weaknesses academically. She is made to feel a part of the school community through school-wide activities run by the staff and the outstanding PTA/parent volunteers. Principal Daly is a wonderful leader and always a friendly face, as are most of the staff. Manchester schools also have Club MELC a before/afterschool care program that is relatively affordable and on-site at the schools, which has been a God-send for me as a working mother. They have a great structure to their program which includes homework, craft and physical activity time.
