Excellent school with caring, passionate, and experienced staff/administration. The schools location is in a beautiful setting in a forested area. So happy to have my children attend school here. Best school on the Ridge!

There is a new principal at the school and she is trying hard. This school is not as bad as the Great Schools rating and is improving, obviously the individual teacher that any given student is assigned makes all the difference. Public schools still have a critical role in our country.

My kids and I love Cedarwood. They want to come to school everyday. The teachers are great and always willing to go above and beyond to help a kid that falls behind. They have special reading groups that help kids read more fluent and also math groups. It has helped my kids. We have a new principal Lori Kerns who is wonderful. She had made such a positive impact already! We have the cleanest school in the district too. Also the after school program is great. They help your kids do thier homework and has a great program. I love Cedarwood!

Our experience at Cedarwood has been extremely positive. My husband and I pulled our daughter from a local charter school after enduring a year of turmoil and instability, and she loves going to school at Cedarwood. The entire school staff is passionate about what they do, the teachers love teaching, and they work as hard as they can to do what's best for the kids. Our son started kindergarten there this year as well, and he is so excited for school everyday! Their after school program (ASP) is also wonderful. I really can't say enough about how great this school is. We love Cedarwood!

The kindergarten teachers are wonderful! Barb Velikonia in particular is a phenomenal teacher. The only drawback to this school is the poor area, with many children receiving less than stellar home care and support.
