Things our family loves about the Brickett School: it’s a community school within close proximity to our home and everything in the neighborhood. The student population represents the diverse world we live in and a multilingual environment benefits all. This school supports the idea that kids have the right to a free public education. And the teachers and staff are supportive and caring. Like most all public schools in the US, there is room to grow and learn, and improve and build - but the foundation is there. The Superintendent of Lynn Public Schools is progressive and caring. The new Principal at the Brickett is kind and supportive. And the teachers and families want to work together to build community. We are proud to be part of the Brickett School!

My son is a current student and I have nieces and nephew that attended the school. The principal is awesome and the teachers are great. They continue to work with the students in improving their academic progress. If there are any issues they will contact the parents. The school have done a great job pre covid, during covid and transitioning out of the endemic. This year we noticed that there are more activities presented to the students in making school fun and exciting.

The celebrate nothing, kids get yelled at for speaking at during lunch time and then they get yelled at for talking during class (I agree with that one) but let them be kids once in a while. Of course they're going to want to talk to their friends during lunch. I despise this school! Anything they do is to benefit themselves! There are a few great teachers such as Mrs. Caron, Mrs. Mulcahy and Mrs. Venda and Mrs. Dion and of course Mrs. Barry but the rest are miserable. It's sad that my kid comes home and tells me he overhears teacher talking about quitting because they hate their jobs and the principle...who is aweful and when it's pouring out they make the kids stand outside in it. The lunch aides tell my kids to shut up!!! Nothing is ever done about it, and, the OT teacher barely shows up!!!! Disgusting! If you hate your job QUIT. Because the kids are suffering!
