This is a welcoming school that strives to educate all children and provide a safe and caring environment. We are a small school, so may not have as many clubs or sports as a larger school system, but being in a small town school has its advantages. Everyone knows you, you can walk to the library after school, you can hang out the green with your friends, and you can get rides to sports from the extended school family where we pull together to make it all work somehow. Despite being in a rural area that has a lack of mental health professionals we do have a full time school counselor as of last year. We have a wonderful hot school lunch program (Chef P) and the kids love his food. We have a drama program at the middle school level that produces a big spring musical each year that involves all the middle school.

I can't say enough good things about this school. This school fosters a positive learning atmosphere for every type of learner. My children have been well supported not only academically but also socially and emotionally. The school is always staying current with academic programing for all subjects. This school not only supports academic readiness but also good moral character development. Overall, I am very impressed with this school and feel fortunate that my kids get to go here.

The school has been fundamental for our children's development as positive community members and students who love to learn. Nothing is perfect, and no school is perfect for everyone, but I can say that in general kids here feel safe, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. The academics are strong, and the kids are more than prepared for high school.

This is a wonderful school. The curriculum is evolving with new evidence-based research in education, following an inquiry based approach. Adolescent difficulties that exist everywhere are dealt with professionally, even in this small, rural town. Students leave Lyme capable young people with high morals and solid academic competence for what lies ahead. This is a lot to ask for in a K-8 school in rural NH!

The bleating by the parent who is moving (bye, redstater) is off-base and misinformed. The school has a solid core, its morals are excellent, and there is no danger in its policies.

We are in the process of moving. The school has become extremely liberal has lost its core values, morals and has adopted an agenda that is dangerous to the youth. In the last 5 months, I have heard stories of depression, gender dysphoria, kids taking the non-binary approach and youths are (cutting themselves) I 100% don't recommend this school
