I go to this school as a 7th grader. The teachers are respectful and it’s rare to genuinely find a disrespectful teacher. I’d say they are good at there jobs. The art teacher is really nice:). They have lgbtq clubs and musical theatre. Great musical theater. I played as Wednesday Addams and it was a good step out of my comfort zone. The 6th graders are usually immature and the 8th graders are a bit scary. The school is built very well, many windows and the tech is advanced. You get your own computer and charger to use. Discipline is...ok? Most kids fight and only get lunch detention. Teachers make sure to help you if you are behind. Most teachers are funny. My best advice for a kid that might go to the school is find the right people and ignore people that make fun of you. If you do instigate don’t make a fool of yourself. It’ll be everywhere. The food is pretty bad, but it’s free. Clean girls bathroom but the boys are disgusting. Big cafeteria. Good library, They have manga. It’s a good school don’t ruin it for everyone by being a immature jerk. Thanks

-Instead of reading notes from parents and second hand knowledge please here my current experience at Mill Creek 2021.I happen to have gone to Mill Creek, and at the time of this letter a student. Although a lot of people are saying its "not a good school" That's simply not the case. My experience will Mill Creek was amazing. And although it could be difficult to switch between elementary to middle school, that's usual, and could be fixed by going to orientation, and learning were your classes are before the first day of school. Homework was Amazing, with teachers helping you, and most of the time giving you more than enough time to do it at school. Although some teachers may come off as "Mean". That truly depends on the way the student acts. Most teachers are really, kind and passionate about teaching, but are just as strict. The leadership at Mill Creek, was good. With almost every teacher I found having a gift at being a good leader, and teaching others how to be grate leaders. Mill Creek, has taught me many things throughout the 3 years I've, been there. Teaching you the integrity to do your part, but at the same time how to communicate, and use teamwork to do difficult problems, and projects. However, with school leaning more and more virtual, especially after it all being online for over a year. I am happy to say its not all on your computer. at least at this date we have been using normal old paper. Furthermore the teachers acknowledge that you may not learn the same way as your neighbor, and change there learning plan so everyone can learn effectively. Lastly I have not had any problems with bullying throughout school. although this may change from year to year this has nothing to do with how much effort the school puts into stopping it.

Fabulous! Middle school can go one or two ways. Our experience has been fantastic. We truly have enjoyed our years at Mill Creek and every single person in its building hold a very special place in our hearts.

I can't wait for my kid to be out of there. If you're moving to the area, this school alone is a reason not to. Consider moving again when your child is middle school age. Dowell teachers are wonderful. The shift from that environment this hot mess is disorienting, at best, and detrimental to learning, at worst.

Mill Creek lets their students just slip in the deep end because the staff have no passion for helping the students. The staff is rather hateful. They rather take the easy route punishing the kids then take the time to give them caring guidence. And their lack of attention to the students shows. I heard several adults from my activies make fun of how poorly they educate the kids compared to the other school's.
