I came to this school back in 2015, and was transitioning from public school to private school. My mom was worried about me slipping through the cracks if I went to a public middle school, so that why she sent me here. Honestly though my experience at St. Michaels did the exact thing my mom was afraid of. It was a very traumatic experience filled with bullying by students and teacher, lying, and loneliness. When I finally graduated in 2018, let's just say it was the happiest day of my life when I left in my graduation gown knowing I would never have to go back ever again. When I walked into highschool I had the lowest test scores, so no they don't care about a students education. I had an extremely bad mental state, and very much wanting to leave the earth. The only good thing that came out of those three years was one of the greatest friendships I've ever had. I beg you please don't send your child here. There are much more capable schools out there who actually want to help your child succeed and to meet there emotional needs as well.

They kicked my grand daughter out before she started kindergarten because her mother let them know she overheard a teacher and an administrator say terrible things about the child. They decided we would be “trouble” so they let us know she was kicked out about 2 days before school started. We couldn’t get into a public school within 30 miles of our home because they had already started. We had to set up homeschooling in just a few days. The people in charge of St Michael’s are, in my opinion, pathetic, despicable, disgusting human beings. We have basically left the Catholic Church over this. Maybe we will go back, but we darn sure won’t set foot in that lily white country club again.

As a community member, I am deeply worried about the harmful behaviorOf the administration in the archdiocese. Prospective families are lied to at St. Michael in particular about what is being offered. This school is so behind and only getting worse.

My two girls have been at this school since 2011, and we are all very happy. They are doing well, and have been thriving academically. In addition, they are learning respect and kindness. Like any school, if you try to find something wrong, you will, and if you search for imperfections, you will find them. I like that everyone (teachers, administration, principal) is willing to speak with you about any matter. Since we have joined, a new principal came on board with many changes...mainly for the better. Our curriculum has become much more rigorous (for the better), and some rules have been better defined/outlined. Change is hard, but I believe all has been good. I would recommend this school to everyone.

I used to teach here but left to go to a school that actually supports its teachers and students. This is an extremely unhealthy environment where students do not get the support they need. Important information is continuously not shared with staff and families. The principal rewards backstabbing, secrecy, and literally gives candy to students who have misbehaved.

We came from a smaller school to St. Michael and have had nothing but great experiences with everything. My girls are thriving. I'm so happy I found this school and awesome church community.
