If you are looking for a great learning environment for your child this is a wonderful school. My children have thrived in their academics all while experiencing the arts. The teachers have high expectations from the kids and will support their learning . The energy and commitment from the teachers, leadership and administration is above and beyond. KIPP Iluminar is a gem in our community. If you want your child to succeed, KIPP Iluminar is an awesome school that will give your child the tools to succeed, a love for learning and no doubt KIA is the first step to get your child to and through college! Take hold of this opportunity, KIPP Iluminar Academy is a great school. Amazing school, wonderful staff and administration. Illuminar is a community, with lots of opportunities to be a part of your child's growth and learning. Facility is beautiful. Besides amazing SBAC scores, they have dance music, art, spanish, and theater. They encourage their children to be innovators and think about how they can change the world.

The principal, teachers, and staff are highly devoted to the academic success of the students. The school encourages and expects parents to play an active role in their child's learning. Frequent assessments help track areas of progress and need. The drive for every KIPP student to be college bound is clearly evident.

KIPP iluminar Academy has surpassed all my expectations. The entire faculty is committed to excellence, passion, consistency, integrity, and hard work. They go above and beyond everyday single day! Ms. Bond is so amazing, she leads by example showing love to every single student. In addition, academics are rigorous and challenging but students work at their own level (advanced or basic). The homework is about 5-6 pages a night but my son adapted quickly. Children will also explore their imagination through music and hip hop. First grade teacher Mrs. Sobrepena is a beautiful positive person with the biggest heart and we were extremely lucky to have her the founding year 2013-14. She set the bar pretty high (we miss you)! If you want your child to tap into his/her full potential, then KIPP iluminar is the school for you. This is not just a school...it's more like a big family.
