School should be a Technical School, so students get trade skills.."citizens of the world"?? Socialist goal that leaves children with no work skills.

I was a student there in 1957! I thought it was a good school and I valued my time there. I went on to complete a Ph.D. in Psychology and counsel others.

FF- parents beware. teachers and all staff are only there to collect their pay checks. they act like they are glorified babysitters.

I am currently assigned to Le Conte as a displaced teacher. I find the staff to be extremely supportive and professional, the students to be respectful, and eager to learn, and the community members on campus to be friendly and active. All Lausd schools need more funding, so I am hoping with that being said, that Le Conte will get upgraded technology soon, to further support their great scholars. I am lucky to be at Le Conte learning that all schools are NOT the same...Some are striving to make constant improvement - Le Conte is doing that. If I had a child myself, I would be very comfortable sending them to Le Conte..and you know how picky we teachers can be..

Le Conte Middle School is a really great school. They offer many after school programs and activities and the teachers are very helpful here. I have been in L. A. C. E. R. and entered rock band after school and it is a good program. This school has 2 types of magnets and S. A. S. Le Conte has been a great experience and I would recommend it.

Our daughter started going to this school in September. The SAS program has had a huge influence on our 8th grader. The teachers and staff are very caring and although she had difficulty adjusting to the larger campus and new curriculum, everyone here has been extremely helpful. 5 stars and a smile from this family.

I think Le Conte is a great middle school because all the teachers care about the students The teachers actually get involved in the classroom and outside (especially the S.A.S teachers). Now that I'm in high school I feel prepared for what to do and whats basically expected of me as a student. Although the teachers aren't as great as last years I'll be fine with what I learned.

I like Ms.Casares, she's the best ! , and also Greg Delger!! I made some good friends that help me out, especially my " best friend " Celeste. I like most teachers here, but not really the substitutes that are here.
