Run, don't walk away from here. That said there are not many choices in the hard area that surrounds it. Kids are injured and neglected, they cannot PLAY ON THE PLAYGROUND every day - only once a week do they get to use the old busted play apparatus. There are no trees no grass. No nothing to nurture young minds. Everything is dilapidated. It is not their fault, as this is funding issue. But it is sad. The teachers let kids fight and hurt themselves when they line up in the morning, no one pays attention. When describing the school to another school, she said "Woah, that is sad" and yes, it is. The kids play on blazing hot asphalt all day with deflated balls that look ancient. It is REALLY sad. If you care about safety dont let your kid come near here, they will not watch them.

The people in the office are so sweet. The lead principal always listens to people and really cares. She was new last year. Miss Yoon is very nice. The teachers seem to be good friends. My daughter loves the dance teacher Club Husky and the leprechaun. She says her teacher is nice. I can see that she is getting better in reading. I wish the school had more cleaning people. There is only one guy. One time I saw a parent act like a bully in the office. I did not like that.

The principal is a kind woman and always tries to do what is best for the kids. The office staff is patient, good-natured, and efficient. The teachers care about the children and are very intelligent individuals. The children are friendly and loving. Most of the parents are wonderful and inspiring.

The people at this school are nice, the kids are good friends and I think that this was a good change for me.

My daughter attended transitional kindergarten, and I had a lot of issues with the staff. I only saw the principal twice this whole 2014-2015 school year. The vibe I got from everyone working there is that they only care to watch what they do or say for their own benefit, and they do not care about the child's education or well-being.

yes this school is a gifted school but for those who ARE GIFTED! my kids both attend this school. My 1st grader started there since kinder, he is not gifted but is doing good. My 4th grader in the other hand has been struggling and this school happens to be his 4th school (due to moving ALOT) he was put in esl and other programs that don't help at all. I as a parent know my child best and due to him moving from school to school had had insecurities and cooperating issues in class. They WERE TELLING ME that my son should be in special ed! NO NO long story short I had to fight ALOT with this school and school district for help. Just my story they like getting credit for the gifted but for those who happen to live in the school zip code who are struggling get the cold shoulder. Plus if your child needs tutoring, you wont qualify since its a "gifted" school. Not fair for those who need a lil help.
