I saw this rating/review site and had to let other parents know my fabulous experience with the staff at The Williams Academy. My daughter attended several other non public schools in the Sacramento area and was not successful at neither one. When my daughter started attending The Williams Academy, she became more interested in school and as a result, she was able to graduate with the rest of her senior class. My daughter graduated last year and thanks to The Williams Academy, she is now a nurse. I would recommend this school in a heart beat to any parent looking for a warm and nurturing school environment.

Excellent teachers, aides, and administrators make The Williams Academy one of the elite non public schools in America. Go to their web site, just like I did, to see some of the amazing accomplishments that this school has been able to achieve . If you ever get the opportunity to send a challenging student to this academy, immediately take a tour to see for yourself. My daughter had difficulties at previous schools, but she is now excelling. I am a totally satisfied parent.

A Five Star school in all areas. I wanted to rate it higher, but five stars is the highest they would let me. My son had behavioral issues prior to his enrollment at The Williams Academy. No longer. I'd highly recommend this school for any student. If you have the opportunity, check it out.

I have had the unique opportunity to work at The Williams Academy for over two years as an Instructional Assistant. Administration at this fine academy treats students, parents, and staff with utmost respect at all times. I am amazed at the professionalism that I see continually throughout the day. This is an amazing school, and I am proud to have been selected as one of " the chosen few" who got selected during a vigorous interview process to work at this school. The Lord was looking out for e when he guided me to apply at The Williams Academy. I feel blessed.

I just got back from doing a personal tour of The Williams Academy, and I must say I was extremely impressed. I met several administrators, teachers, and line staff. They all were very professional in all ways possible. Doctor Williams is an unbelievable role model for his at-risk students. Colonel Grate brings a distinguished military background to his role as Director. Another amazing administrator is the dynamic principal and social worker. I could go on and on about the rest of the staff at The Williams Academy, but just let me say this extremely diverse staff has a plethora of talents which are blended together to make an outstanding school. A close friend of mine has a student there who faced serious difficulties in other schools. He is now an honor student who is extremely successful. If you can get a public school district to make a referral to this school, first get on your knees and praise the Lord. Then immediately call them to arrange a visit. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

I'm a former teacher and can tell you that The Williams Academy is one of the worst non public schools in the area. The director cares only about money and not seeing students succeed. The school lacks proper curriculum, has unsafe and an improperly maintained transportation fleet. The administration regularly ask teachers to embellish negative student behaviors in order to keep students in the school rather then returning them to the districts. If you want your child to succeed and eventually return to a regular school program do not send them to The Williams Academy.

My child has been to several other non public schools in the Sacramento area and has experienced many difficulties at these schools. Some of the problems were induced by staff at these schools not knowing how to handle aggressive behaviors and other incidents occurred because my child was simply out of control. My child is now attending The Williams Academy and I have not had any major concerns with the staff or my child acting out of control. I, too, am a firm believer that this school is governed by qualified experts who have my child's best interest at the forefront of their agenda. I am pleased at the educational and behavioral progress my child is making at this school.
