I didn’t know what to expect when my child started kindergarten, but this is an absolutely outstanding school. My child is in their final year and has had an exceptional experience. The teachers are all top tier. They’ve been working together for many years and they have so much love for the students and families and our community. Being at Stevenson has been an amazing experience for my family. The school is a community in itself and I am so thankful for the care they take in educating my child and helping me raise her as a lifelong learner.

Problem with bullying at this school, my son and a least two other students that I know of have been picked on at Stevenson Elementary. in my sons case he got tired of being made of because he was white and small for his age so he started to fight back and caused even more problems. he had one pair of glasses ripped off his face smashed right in front of him and the second pair was taken from him by the larger students and were never found. this happened in the first three months he was enrolled in this school. Once he transferred to Edison Elementary the bullying stopped and he has won student of the month on two different occasions.

The office staff are all over the place. My comment may sound personal but to be honest they lack a professional approach and setting. With in a three months my kid brought home 6 fundraiser, 6! That alone shows a parent how little funding they get. Its sad.

My daughter started attending this school in November of 2013 and I couldn't be happier! The teachers are very involved and the the Principal Mr. Zaid is very nice and cares about all the students. I know the neighborhood is not the greatest, so don't judge a book by its cover, don't let that influence your decision of sending your child there. Many kind and caring parents and are involved. My daughter is there with an Inter-District permit and I'm glad they accepted my daughter to attend there. So far my daughters math has improved a lot compared to how she was doing when I pulled her from a charter school that she had previously attended.

my kids have been at this shcool for 3yrs and i think its a great school. even more this year with the new principal.

my daughter goes here and loves it! She does not want to leave. They can be a little strict but they have many fun activities! She enjoys the clubs such as: chorus ( which she is in) . Three of her best friends take violin and say great things about it (they also have a band class). I do not regret letting her go to this school!
