    My wife and I developed a good relationship with the Muir staff when our older son attended middle school there. When our second son was not originally accepted we worked with them and were able to get him in 6th grade. We are so happy that we did because we consider Muir one of the best schools in Long Beach, definitely the best on the Westside where we live.

    Very nice and caring teachers. Teacher was concerned regarding a comment my child made to her. She personally called me to make sure everything was okay. Great communication! Excellent school!

    As a former teacher at Muir I know how devoted the teachers are to their students. Muir's motto is Muir - a great place to grow.

    This school is fantastic. The teachers are caring and hard working. They are communicative and take into account each student's learning styles. I love this school and so do my four children who attend.
