    Central Elementary is a great school. The teachers worked with me to meet the needs of my son. A very hard working and dedicated staff.

    I was very dissatisfied with this school. Many of the teachers are unfriendly and the principal was not very willing to listen to parent concerns regarding students in her elementary school. There were two separate occasions where my child was lost at bus time. One of these times, my child was sent out onto the street instead of being sent home on the bus (even after he informed the teacher that he was to ride the bus home) and he wandered the neighborhood in tears until he was found. He was only five at the time! I also made several attempts to contact my son's teacher through notes and such concerning my son's behavior and academics and was never afforded a reply. Excellent rated or not, there is more to school than taking tests and perfect attendance; there is common decency and nurturing of students and this school is sadly lacking.
