This school has no discipline policies. The principle is a flake who allows kids to be hit in the face IN FRONT OF HER and nothing is done. She provides no support to her teachers and allows the kids to run wild. The woman has no backbone and treats her teachers like second class citizens. She doesn't care about staff and she certainly doesn't care about students. Her lack of disciple is going to have very negative effects on these children and she SHOULD BE reported to the authorities. I hope she reads this and realizes what a dunce she has been and gets some backbone and supports her teachers rather than some unruly children when it comes to discipline.

The post regarding discipline is way off base. They have implemented new policies, have an excellent new HS principal (who is quite strict!!!) and also have an on duty officer from the sheriff's dept. on a daily basis. You NEVER see students wandering the halls! My daughter graduated from here and was well prepared for college. Parents, bare in mind, any school is what you and your child make of it. They now offer AP online classes and a rigorous curriculum for those willing to work. There is also an excellent Talented and Gifted Program which serves EL and HS students with trips offered for students (New York, Chicago Niagra Falls to name a few) and there are even trips abroad available every other year. We actually went to England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales before my daughter graduated. So parents, remember.....a school and your child's education IS ONLY WHAT YOU BOTH make of it.....no matter where the school is!

i am so appaulled by this schools disipline policy --seems theres no disipline when kids can cuss out and ''flip off'' there teachers in the hall ways with no dispilinary action. how in the world can anyone rate this as a 5 star school?
