Excellent school! The entire staff is caring and very professional. Principal McGruder is a wonderful person and truly cares about all the students. Mrs. Indelicato is an extremely talented teacher and she really goes the extra mile to make sure learning is interesting and fun. I'm very pleased with the quality of teachers and my child's progress. There is before/after school daycare at the Primary School (right across the parking lot) and children have a safe, very short ride (30 seconds) on the bus from door to door. No worries about safety in the parking lot or weather. Quality education and terrific teachers and staff make this an awesome, wonderful school!

Teachers go the extra mile to see that children succeed. Being on staff at Locust Grove Elementary is a privilege.

Locust Grove Elementary school has surpassed my expectations. I have one student who spends much of his day in a special education setting and one who is gifted. The teachers at this school do all they can to address the needs of both children. In fact, they are better cared for here than in their previous schools (which both had a Great Schools rating of 9). They have the best teachers aides that I have experienced in my son's many years of special ed. Nothing beats a caring, enthusiastic staff and LGES is overflowing with them!
