Locust Fork Elementary is a wonderful school. It has a loving faculty and stay who care deeply about their students. I am thankful my girls have such caring mentors in their lives.

Locust Fork Elementary is an important part of our community. The school has made so many academic improvements over the last few years. I know why. I see teachers working at the school late into the evenings and even on weekends. My child's teacher is providing a loving and safe environment for my daughter to not only learn but thrive. I am proud to be a hornet!

I don't have a problem with the majority of the teachers there but the ones my daughter has for this year is awful. I don't believe they care enough about the students to help them along the way. I know one teacher brings her child to the classroom with her and she gets away with it because of who she is. She is too busy with her child and her "softball team" to worry about our children in this classroom getting an education. If she wanted her child be with her then she needs to be a stay at home mom and let a teacher that really cares about the kids teach. I'm sure there are several out there that need a job. Just my opinion.

Locust Fork Elementary is a caring school that has excellent teachers. Students are in a challenging academic learning enviroment. Students are loved and nurtured in a safe and clean enviroment. My children adore their teachers and I am very pleased with the education they are receiving. Teachers go out of their way to challenge my children and show them they are loved. Their self esteem as increased tremedously upon entering Locust Fork Elementary.

You can tell one of these parents attended Locust Fork as a child!! LOL!!! "lieing" pitiful...Just look at their test scores...and yes...there are too many teachers there just to get a paycheck...my children (3 of them) have also come home and told me about their teachers text messaging and I have some as friends on facebook and have seen them online while they are supposed to be teaching!!! Trust me... these people are not lying.....

I absolutely love my son's teacher Ms. Hughes (1st Grade), she is wonderful and works great with my son. I have never had any problems out of this school, with these reviews I have read, the only thing I can say is that you can't please everyone. I moved to Locust Fork from the Trussville area because I love the country and when I drove by the school it made me feel more comfortable moving. Everyone is so great and so nice, I am very thankful my son is going to this school and will until he graduates. After school is awesome too, teachers are so sweet.

The standard of academics is an absolute joke! The entire organization, or so called organized way of operating the school is unsatisfactory. I am glad I withdrew my son and put him in a real school. He had always went to Jefferson Cty Schools until moving to Locust Fork. This was an eye opening experience. I now know that you should really find out about the school you are enrolling a child in.
