Terrible school and district. Instead of teachers trying to help the kids in the classroom, they just send them to the principals office. The school is overcrowded. Terrible student to teacher ratio.

I have been lucky enough to have the same teacher twice for my child. I am thrilled and so is he. So nice to have my kids in a school where the teachers work together so well that you always win whatever teacher your child gets.

Not worth the hype!!! Principal and staff are lacking in personality and friendliness. The scholl may be one of the newer in the district but it is not one of the best. I'm so glad my daughter is out if there and at the middle school now. I laugh when people tell me they open enrolled and this was their top choice. Please do your research!! This is not one of the best schools in the area. I'm glad er made it out of there without any issues but I see everyone wanting to get in for some reason. It is not worth the frustration of the horrible open enrollment process. I heard story's of the kindergartners this year. What a joke!!

Outgoing teachers make this a true community attitude within the school! I have yet to know of another school that makes you feel like part of a family. My children have had been fortunate enough to have the same teacher and two of them have had this, spectacular in every way, teacher more than once due to her being moved to different grades. That in itself is telling about how hard the staff works to be successful where ever they are positioned!

This was our first year at Blue Heron Elementary. My daughter's in 5th grade and just loves it here. We couldn't be more pleased with the teachers, principal and nursing staff. We did open enrollment, due to being so unhappy with the school options in our district. So glad we made this switch! My son will being starting kindergarten this year and we'll be sending him here as well. It's a little bit of a drive for us to and from school, but so worth it!

Wonderful teachers, principal, and programs. Everything about this school is what a parent wants when they send they children off to elementary school. Moving to Lino Lakes we were aware of the excellent education system in place but what we found at Blue Heron is above and beyond. Great facilities as well.

Teachers truely care about the kids. Facility is new and kept well. Staff concentrates on the basics and the school has many extras for students who overachieve.
