This school is awesome it really is.There was barley any bullies, the infrastructure looks nice there's not much to say except positive feedback.The Safety of this school is rather great the school Is located in a good part of lindenhurst overall a great school I definitely miss the 3 years I spent here

THIS IS A TERRIBLE SCHOOL. I WORK SO HARD ON MAKING STUFF ON THE CHROMEBOOKS. THEN WE ARE FORCED TO ENTIRELY RESTART THE CHROMEBOOK AND SIGN OUT AND YOU LOSE EVERYTHING YOU CREATED. I JUST WANT TO GET OUT OF HERE NOW BECAUSE IT HURTS. SOME OF THE 7TH GRADERS ARE SO IMMATURE, THEY CURSE AND ARE RACIST AND RUDE. THIS SCHOOL IGNORES BULLYING AND THE FACT THAT PEOPLE CURSE ALL THE TIME, EVEN IF ITS A VIOLATION OF THE CODE OF CONDUCT. AFTER THE MARCH 27TH INCIDENT, THIS SCHOOL DECIDED IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THE FACT THAT SOMEONE HAD A WEAPON IN THE SCHOOL AND THAT THE STUDENTS WERE UNSAFE. INSTEAD OF BEING SMARTER BY SPENDING MONEY ON SOMETHING SUCH AS A METAL DETECTOR OR ACTUALLY LISTENING TO THE CONCERNED PARENTS, THEY DECIDED TO WASTE THEIR BUDGET MONEY BY RENOVATING THE BATHROOMS. THIS IS A TERRIBLE SCHOOL AND YOU NEED TO STAY AWAY FROM IT. PLEASE.

This district has been amazing supporting our kids with their educational needs. The communication is present using tools such as parent square and parent portal. The support for children with IEP’s is amazing. I’m proud to be here in this district and have had no issues in the years I worked with the district! Thank you LUFSD

I moved out to Lindenhurst with my children for the schools. I am very disappointed with the experiences my children and I have had so far. The school district is predominantly white and sorely lacking in diversity and inclusion. They do absolutely nothing to address bullying. They ignore racism, even defend the children who have taken part in it, instead of reprimanding. The administration is full of people who seemingly have not stepped out of Suffolk County in a very long time. They come across as rude, ignorant, and obsolete. One of my children also complains that the schoolwork is not challenging enough. They do enjoy the lunch though, so if you are searching for a better lunch program then this is the school for you. Otherwise, avoid the Lindenhurst school district.

After having struggled with learning disabilities for years my 6th grader came into this school and landed himself on high honor roll every quarter! The staff is very attentive to the specific needs of the child especially the special ed staff they treat your kid like they were their own, they care! There is a good balance of strict policies and staff kindness and patients that makes this school work so well. Specifically the principal has high standars for the teachers and staff and because of that the kids can succeed! Its not like that in lots of other schools , this school has the percect combination of people caring to make a diffrenca in each childs life!
