    Very racist school my son got suspended for defending himself from a a kid that tried to beat him up and my son is learning nothing all the teachers there teach nothing my son told me they sit around wile kids play games on there phone and other stuff

    After my daughter received little to no help with her academics (she has a 504 plan), and the previous principal allowing my daughter to be bullied because of “how she is” (referring to her being gay), we just switched schools. I seriously hope the principal there now has made improvements, because this was a terrible school.

    Very engaged principle, actually knows who my child is. The "diff" program which is for higher accelerated learners is wonderful! Teachers have been great, nice mix of male to female ratio, which my son has enjoyed his guy teachers.

    Dawes could be a good school if it had a principal that was qualified. Her leadership abilities are lacking and she is disorganized. The students seem to "rule this school" and lack any respect for the administration. Terrible experience here -- had to transfer our daughter to another middle school.
