My son has joined the soccer team this year and it was a great experience for him. He was able to play on a team that valued integrity and fostered character growth among all team members. The student body is not too large so that every student can be on the team and not too small that there can be no team. The parents are generally invested in their children and there is a good showing of parents at the soccer events. My son's teachers are genuinely concerned about his academic success and his growth as a leader.

Wow! The school is entering its 50th year and on an upward trend. I have seen athletes go on to be All Americans in college, students go into top schools to become doctors, lawyers, engineers, pastors, etc. , and students go on to be leaders in their communities and homes. It is definitely a gem that is on the rise! If supporting faith, family and developing world changers is what you seek in a school, you must check out Lima Christian!

Sports/extra curricular activities are limited and availability varies from year to year (not always a coach available). Smaller class sizes, but still has cliques like a public school. I expected different behavior since it is a Christian school, but there is still inappropriate behavior, bad language, sex talk, etc. - no different from my public school experience. Need to lower my expectations, I guess.

LCS was a disappointment. My kids plan on continuing on to college, but felt they would not be prepared with the education they were receiving at LCS. For example, last year (2016) the history teacher was unprepared for the final exam. He actually was writing it while the high school students waited. As the students finished one section, they had to wait as he typed up another part. We transferred to another Christian school since we felt that our money should be spent on a higher quality education. Immediately, my children realized that the new school is much more difficult. Their grades went from straight A's with honors at LCS to A's and low B's. My son is very far behind in Spanish since the class at LCS barely covered half of the material last year that his new school did. I am very happy that my children are now realizing that you have to work for good grades, rather than just getting by easily in a school that is not academically rigorous. LCS is lacking in resources, extracurricular activities, & diversity. Although it has the lowest tuition around, it is not worth the cost.

Great school that gives a quality education. Really gives great insight on how you should go about your daily life. All the teachers are really committed to seeing you excel in all aspects of your life. Students and staff are very friendly and considerate. Great academic school with high commitment.

Lima Christian School has been a rock for my family for years. The teachers and staff members are highly committed to the success of the students. It's like a family. The leadership also cares very deeply about each of the students. My elementary student is constantly challenged by her teacher and loves her classmates. It isn't perfect, but no school is.

This is the best school the world has ever seen. The staff is great, and are very involved in the students life. They sacrifice everything for this school. The atmosphere is A+ with the fact that the students are surrounded by a group of people who are 100% committed to Christ. The extra-curricular activities are fantastic as well, and the supervisors of these activities continue to remind the students that "To God be the Glory", is the most important thing when participating. The school tries to help everyone as well as they can, despite the smallish staff, everyone pulls their weight, and everyone is happy. This is an overall GREAT school.

We have 3 children who attend Lima Christian. Two of our children were adopted from China last year, at ages 7 and 14! Lima Christian was the ONLY school able to meet the needs of our non-English speaking children, as well as the needs of our highly gifted ADHD child. They work amazingly hard to help every child be successful.
