We are an active duty family. before arriving we found it hard to get info or reviews (so here’s my honest review). I feel like we struck gold! Our son is going on his third year at eastern Elementry. I love how the teachers and staff are all on top of what is happening and how to help if help is ever needed.

I find the leadership in this school to be unprofessional and immature. When I brought an issue to the attention of the school's office I was met with denial, indignance, and irrational argument. I was yelled at by the school secretary who afterward described me to the principal as "out of control". I had signed my child out of the school early and the secretary came out into the hallway yelling at me, scaring my child as we walked toward the exit. When I called to discuss the matter with the principal he became antagonistic and even resorted to calling me names and attacked my character. It is in my opinion that his views had no merit so he decided to try and discredit me as a person. I am extremely disappointed in this school district.Lexington Ohio is bad enough that I allowed my child to move in with her mother, changing residential custody just to get her out of this school district faster. How sad to think that these are the people who we trust our children with. How can they instruct children on appropriate behaviors and attitudes if they do not practice such things themselves. Such a sad and disappointing people.
