My children attended MIQ from 2009-2012 (K-2nd). We now live in Virginia in one of the best school districts in the country and academically, the children were at the same level. We were not Catholic but given the public school option in Lemoore we chose the private school. This school was so welcoming and such a positive influence on our children. There are volunteer hours that you have to do or pay out (at the time) and even though my spouse and I were dual military with one deployed, we were still able to get the hours (with help from the friendly staff and families). The Nuns were such a great influence, truly kind to the bone and so calm; as are all the staff but they made the children feel so loved and so close to God. We loved that the older kids recognized our small children and that they also had a positive influence on them (reading buddies and chapel buddies). We will always be incredibly thankful to all the staff at MIQ.

While MIQ School has a great set of nuns dedicated to serving the community, it seems to be bogged down with a lack of leadership, and has academic program that is adequate, not challenging. If you want a religious education, but don't mind extra work and summer school needed to keep your child at grade level, then it's a good school for you.
