I graduated from this school around 7 years ago. Currently, I attend an adequate university in San Diego (UCSD). This school definitely prepared me for the real life -- it taught me street smarts (i.e., hustling). The bullying I received from other ethnic minorities was definitely a humbling experience; it taught me that life is not fair and that you have to hustle to achieve your goals and respect. On a serious note, however, this school is descent based on the socioeconomic resources that are provided by the taxpayers. The teachers are great at encouraging the students to be more engaged with their course work. Overall, this school is decent; I would have not been where I am today without the foundations set forth by this institution.

My son has done very well here especially throughout the pandemic and transitioning back to campus. The teachers really support each other in maintaining an inclusive environment.

My children have been attending San Altos since kindergarten. Now they’re in 3rd and 4th grade. The teachers have been amazing worked hard to get my children interested in learning. The staff is very involved on the playgrounds, during lunch, and when working within the classrooms with the teachers and students. The school and PTA has done so much for our children when it comes to events at the school, ensuring outdoor play equipment is replaced when necessary, and ensuring all students have the opportunity to be involved in events and field trips.

This school has been a great learning experience for 3 of the 4 children I have. The 4th ready to enter. The campus is taken care of and watched. Gates are closed and locked. The system has improved more and more every year on student safety. Curriculum is great and my kids show me some things I didn't know about and it's a wonderful teaching learning experience.

Love it! I like all the play grounds and it seems safe and I love how they serve Pizza to the school mostly every Friday.

My child has attended since Kindergarden. Now entering 2nd grade. The class sizes are smaller than neighboring districts. The quality of teachers is excellent, and the staff and parents are great. I am proud to have my child at San Altos.

My Son has been attending San Altos for 3 years and unfotunately each year his grades and performance go down. He has special needs and the teachers do little to help him and work with him one on one. The Principal is horrible and expects kindegartners to stand up to peer pressure at such a young age, he also brings his presidential politics into school which i think is completely inappropriate! We are no longer a part of San Altos and will never reccomend this school to anyone.
