It seems that for Utah, its a decent school but having come from California this school is average at best. The principal, Kim Roper, is completely antisocial and there is a definite hiearchy of select parents who have his ear. He has been known to be condescending towards women, ignore emails addressing student issues he deems irrelevant and is only interested in helping out his own team of parents. Its a real shame because there are some wonderful teachers.

We are starting our 5th year here at North Pointe. We are renting our house and have stayed only because of this school and how well our children are cared for by the teachers and staff. These professionals (principled by Mr. Roper) genuinely love our kids and believe in educating the whole student not just academically but emotionally, physically and socially as well. The PTA is amazing and parent involvement here is outstanding giving teachers support they need to be more successful. If you live in this school's zone, count yourself LUCKY!

I absolutely love the school! The teachers are great it's very laid-back and very welcoming to parents . I came from a school before this one that was locked down and very military style and was very unhappy with it. I seem way more success with my kids at Northpoint. Mrs. Staples and Mrs. Knight our wonderful wonderful teachers! It is more on the conservative side which I prefer teaching patriotism and pride for our country. I would give it 10 stars !

We love this school. Our son has attended North Pointe for the last two and a half years and loves it. His teachers are engaging and the administration is invested in the success of our son.
