This school gave me the most traumatic experience ever. The lack of concern for the sexual and physical violence in this school is heartbreaking. As a former student, I felt bullied for being a victim. The high school principal and counselor dismissed me being sexually assaulted by one of their students, refused to let me speak out about it, told me it would be better to keep it to myself, and refused to let me write a statement. The other students harassed me for my assault & they never took action. I had to leave this school my sophomore year because of PTSD. They are also horrible with special education accommodations. My brother went through so much having extreme adhd that he can no longer attend there aswell because the teachers do not accommodate or understand children’s disabilities. This school is horrible behind closed doors & is unsafe. You got to worry about you being groped in the halls & judged by the administration.

My nephew is junior as well as my own two children in 5th and 6th grades. As with anywhere there is a teacher here & there that isn't very good but overall I love this school and all the staff. My nephew is hearing impaired and has minor learning disabilities and there has never been opposition to helping him or setting up IEP. Everyone has actually gone above and beyond to help him. The previous reviews are ridiculous. The people giving a bad review have multiple misspellings and grammar mistakes. I think that should be taken into consideration when looking at them. The only review from this decade is a student who to me was very apparent he/she was not happy about a move to a new school. Unreliable reviews.

I was forced to attend this school. Coming from Niles I was surprised by the lack of care for the Seniors. The guidance counselor actually said to me and my aunt that they just kind of let them do want they want and don't really help them cause they are going to do what they want. This school is more concerned with there top students and getting the rest to past the state test then anything else. Once you pass the state tests they don't care if you get Ds all through high school. It is a very conservative school and is obvious that do or care about 10% of the students. I would open enroll out of this school by any means necessary unless you know you are going to be the valedictorian.
