Terrible! Mrs. Jones is unpredictable and unprofessional, the school is filthy, bullying is acceptable and they do not care about their students ! Protocols are not followed! The students are the ones that suffer! Taking it to mrs. Kelly Trinidad did not help (she is fine with the bullying and improper actions of the staff! I will be voting them out!

MHS is the best of all schools in Lawton. They care about all their students, special needs included. The principal and assistant principals are very helpful and work for the betterment of the school. Athletics is supreme and the football coach teaches his team how to be upstanding men. MHS has many accelerated classes, catering to the needs of all students.

Great School! Teacher's care about their students and work to make them successful. Academics are as good as any school in the state. Mac Students have been named National Merit Scholars (15 in the last five years), Presidential Scholars (1 in the last there years) which only two are named per state each year, and Academic All Staters (9 in the last 5 years), 70% of Mac teachers have advanced degrees, with 2 having doctoriates in their selected fields. Fine arts are a big part of Mac with their band and choirs winning many awards across the state. Athletics are second to none with football, basketball, softball, golf all making it to the state playoffs each of the last 8 years.

Mc Arthur High School has diversity with a mix of young and tenured staff that is aggressive and up to date with their sports and academic programs. This aggressive nature to aid the majority of children for scholarships to higher education does not apply due to staff apathy, exceptions exist if they deem a child a project. The atmosphere and composure of the students involved in school projects such as sports, clubs, music, etc. to accept someone new to become a part of that program is exceptional. Attitude of students as a majority is positive, they want to be productive in school and life which reflects staff leadership. Parent involvement in booster clubs, sports activities, leadership seminars,plays, choirs, and band activities by volunteering in various school commencements to make them memorable for the students to the giving of financial support to continue there success is extremely positive and appreciated by the staff. The only way to improve this school is to reward the teachers with class teaching materials as well as more pay which is true of any school.

I spent one year in McArthur Highschool as a junior this last year, and it was a very good experience. Bullying is next to none, good teachers, etc. However, their english program was behind compared to what I was used to, it just seemed to slow paced and childish. I guess this was because I was for some reason put in a co-ed class with students with learning disabilities, and this was the standard class. I switched to the AP English class, was all better.

As a military move to Lawton I can't be happier with this school. This is THE best high school in Lawton!! The teachers and staff are very caring and want nothing but the best for the kids. They helped my daughter with this transition and she is doing great!
