I will start by saying, this is the WORST SCHOOL, I have encountered in my ,whole entire motherhood life. I have a son and daughter that goes here. They’ve been going there since last school year and it’s been a problem since. They don’t know how to treat the students respect is a big problem with me with them regarding how to treat my kids.HOW YOU GONNA LEARN AND DONT GET NO RESPECT!!! I never drop my kids off to a school and they come home and tell me how a teacher missed treated them and they had to protect Their selves or my son who gets bullied by a kid and he gets suspended and not the other kid because he’s protecting his self…………………..School is a big success for me, Regarding my children. I want them to succeed like any other parent my kids don’t go to school to get tortured my daughter comes home to tell me she had to slap a teacher because she was Antagonizing her asking her about a boyfriend and do she want too fight multiple times she stated that too my 7 year old daughter I confronted the school, and the treatment I received THEY TOLD ME TOO GET OFF THERE CAMPUS I want too withdraw them and too no Avail I have still not withdrawing them from school or got their transcript so they can succeed in there education instead you call me everyday too say my daughters absent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!MY TWO CHILDREN WILL NOT BE GOING TOO THIS SCHOOL ANYMORE,I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL…STEVEN FOSTER ELEMENTARY IS THE BEST SCHOOL AND NEW RIVER MIDDLE IN FT LAUDERDALE THEY LOVE THE KIDS AND THE PARENTS!!!!!I

My son started in the childfind program when he was 3. This is our 3rd year at the school now and I am sad that we won't be returning next year. This school has been a wonderful experience for us. My son has developed a love for learning and I have watched him develop socially. The teachers at this school are wonderfull. I hope the school we are going to next year will be as good as starlight cove was. It amazes me that this school has only a 4 rating on this site, it just goes to show you can't always go just on ratings.

I like my daughters teachers but the communication between departments is awful. The office staff has been completely unorganized and unbelievably rude. My daughter is not doing anywhere near as well as she was doing in her previous school, so we are pulling her out and moving so she can get a better education with more one on one help, updates on her progress, and a more organized office. The kids in this neighborhood deserve better.

I took my two children out of this schoo. The aftercare program run by Christian Carrera is horrible, uncoordinated, and they use immature and unskilled counselors. There is very little tolerance for any child that might have a behavior issue. My children both have ADHD and take meds to help their attention and hyperactivity. I was constantly called with complaints and orders to pick up my children. Now that the kids have been in a new school and more professional staff SINCE JANUARY 7th, 2014!!! AND I HAVE HAD NO SUCH ISSUES!! The staff at the new school says they are wonderful kids and I need to relax because they are doing great! Thank You MARITIME ACADEMY @--->>>----

I had just moved here when I enrolled my son to this school, read the reviews and found them to be better then average so I had high hopes. Let's just say I removed my son after his 3rd day never to return. The programs are lacking, the teachers do the best they can with what they are given but that is not much. Too many kids, no bus system for 3 mile distances, so the lines to pick up kids is horrid, they have a playground, but kids don't have PE or can't play on it, I am not impressed in the least and if you care about your child's education I recommend you look for something else.

Excited to say my nephew will be attending in August! Hoping for a great year
