While there are a handful of teacher who truly care about the education and wellbeing of the students here, the administration seems to be the complete opposite. The dean, specifically Sandra Dahl, targets students and has a white savior complex. She know nothing of the students and pretends to care just for the numbers. She also disregards staff members and constantly is on a power trip. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE!

This school has been nothing but trouble. I had to take my child to a different school because there’s constantly fights every single morning. The teachers aren’t even doing the job, while other are resigning. Plus, even when it’s getting cold and I allow my child to wear their hoodie, for some reason the school doesn’t allow it! I was so mad because my child couldn’t keep themselves warm. Additionally, the teachers always keeps the AC on during cold weather even when the students politely ask them to. Finally, I don’t recommend bringing your child here.

This school is self explanatory. I had to withdraw my child to a different school because of how teachers were to him, they wasn't teaching anything grade level but below it.

Unprofessional in every aspect!! Don’t work or send your children here. They allow children to curse the adults out without consequences as well as other students. They do not take children’s behaviors seriously. A 4th grader choked out a 1st grader to the point where his eyes rolled back. They allowed that same 4th grade to come back the next year. He’s never in class and disrespects children and adults constantly. The pay isn’t worth it they do not care for their hourly employees. Only the teachers. They are unorganized, your job title will change constantly! They are short staffed for a reason!!! People quit often! The teachers that stay have no where else to go but trust me they hate it there just like I did Administration is a complete joke.

We are still trying to make this school the best school that has ever existed. We are making our students to be feeling awesome and being enjoyed. I hope everyone is agreeing with me!

I am shocked to see a 2/10 rating for the Test Scores for this School. Great Schools need to update the scores because the Students at Vision Academy out performed the other schools in the William Penn School district. This is a relatively new school and as with new Charter School there will be some growing pain but the school has persevered. The waiting list for VACS is long..

First year was good, second year was awful. Different teachers, learning pattern. Leadership has to change.

Vision Academy is an early stage Charter School as with any new organization it is going through some growing pains. The school is entering its third year of operations and has taken great strides to ensure that its students succeed in the next academic year by providing mandatory 6-weeks of summer school to springboard academic progress and bridge any academic gaps. Parents whose children are not taking advantage of the summer school service can only blame themselves. VAC has a lot of potentials and I strongly believe that with time the school will out-perform other schools in the William Penn School District.

The school is really doing great compared to most schools . Being relatively new there is still room for improvement. Needs stronger parents support to move the school to a greater height. We are role models to our kids. Kids most times exhibit what they see at home in the outside. Lets give extra time to them and not focus on busy schedule all the time. Lets not loose our kids to busy schedules. Lets teach them the importance of being dedicated in all we do. They are our feature leaders of tomorrow. We really need to catch them young now.

VACS is still relatively new;just finished its 2nd school year.I believe the school has a great potential.Several parents have complained.I also did and I'm happy that my concerns were largely addressed. However, the younger grades had it better compared with 4th and 5th graders who had several teachers leaving them out of a loop for various reasons.I heard some kids were acting out!We need more parental involvement to help our kids and keep the teachers and principal on their toes.I am positive that most of the problems the school has this school year will smoothen out by the next school year.We are our children's greatest advocates.I recently got my kids NWEA results and I'm pleased with the results.I could relate their scores with other students, same grade across the nation.Things can only get better!

Would not recommend sending your child to Vision Academy. There is no doubt most of the teachers care and are effective teachers, but the school can't hold on to many of the good ones. The fourth grade alone had 6 teachers between the two classes last year. School leadership is very disorganized and ineffective. The lack of communication and organization from school leadership is downright awful. Everything is done in a last minute frenzy. Only reason I'm giving it two stars is because some of the teachers are caring and effective.
