    Coming from a different area and different school I am quite happy with our experience at CES. Teachers, staff and principal are helpful, caring and supportive.

    CES is a wonderful school...I feel so fortunate to have been able to provide my children with such an outstanding elementary school experience. From the principal to the teachers, the support staff and the janitors, everyone goes out of their way to make this school a happy, safe place to learn and grow. I have always felt welcomed into my children's classrooms and I've always been pleased at the responsive, caring attitude of everyone in the school.

    I have a first grader diagnosed with Aspergers. I could not ask for more support from a school district, than the support I've received from everyone within Hempfield SD. My son attended a "diagnostic" kindergarten, where he was observed the entire school year. At the end of the year, I was given options of different types of learning environments the district offers and recommendations as to where his learning support staff thought he would excel. I could not be more impressed with a school district, the teachers, the special education department, therapists, counselors, etc.

    School has good teachers but principal is over controlling and places severe restrictions on parental involvement
