Wonderfully positive, diverse school community here. Ms. Crawford is a fabulous principal, the teachers are highly experienced, and having a global perspective is a core value. (Note: Harrison’s test scores may be lower on average because English is not the first language of many students.)

Overall we are very satisfied with this school. I'm baffled to see how low their rating is. We moved here from a 9/10 school & this school is rated a 3/10! What!?! Harrison has been amazing, they have education nights where parents come in & get info on what kids are learning, the teachers communicate to parents almost daily, my son felt more confident at this school & like his progress is noticed. He feels like a valuable member of his community & that's something our previous school fell short on. If you didn't have money or weren't in the "click" you were not a part of the community. I'm convinced these ratings are based on test scores. We moved from a predominantly white area where most people are upper middle class, to a more diverse area where is closer to lower middle class. The rich parents can afford tutoring, they can spend extra time with kids on school work because they don't have to worry about finances. Kids here have working parents & not as much help at home, which isn't the schools fault. These ratings are bulls*it if you ask me.

I am pleased with the education and programs available. I would like to see another counselor at this location.

I'm sorry that it took me moving to southern Ohio and experiencing a new school district to really appreciate Harrison. If my son fell behind in class participation or work for 2-3 days his teacher would contact me. Not 3 weeks later like his current school. I'm on this site now researching new schools for my child in our new city ( been here 2 years now). The Principal, teachers, and all the volunteers at Harrison really make that school stand out from other schools
