Quite possibly the best education any child would be lucky enough to receive in this country. The environment is geared toward learning and advancement toward college and a professional career. Teachers are engaging and knowledgeable. The only hit or miss is the administrative staff. Solid school, solid education along with a great athletic program. Highly recommend LFHS

Going from the hell-hole that is DPM to LFHS was such a relief. You will not regret sending your child here. It is one of the best education systems I could experience in my lifetime.

I would rate my experience at this school as a 5 out of 5.

Students who engage will be prepared. Extracurriculars are outstanding, but most kids need to find their niche to be happy. The school has tried to improve its approach to emotional wellness. Teachers are strong, though writing, in particular, does not receive enough focus and some tend to encourage the competitive strain that runs through the school. College assistance has been fine tuned, and more kids are really looking at more schools. The community is competitive, and that can help or hinder your child. Kids who have a strong skill tend to have better outcomes; the B student, with average extra curricular interest and abilities can flounder. The comment about improving feedback, apart from grades, particularly to freshmen, is one the school should consider. New principal really tries to know the student, in a way the old principals have not.

I am concerned about what the kids are learning with the less homework and less testing emphasis.

Too pressuring, highly spoiled and enabled kids and parents. Teachers who take little interest in students. Very clique like and not a friendly place to be.Adminstration that doesn't respond to srudent/parent needs. Can't compare to LFAcademy or private schools!
