As a parent, I am thrilled to have found Annaliese School for my son, Diego. He had the chance to go to 2 campuses, Manzanita & Aliso. The school has provided him with a unique and enriching learning experience that has helped him grow personally. One of the things that sets Annaliese School apart is its focus on fostering a good learning environment, loving and caring (Diego recalls all small and big token of appreciation he got,... from his Teacher showing up to his goodbye party, to the Master Cook calling him everyday by his name and engaging with him in such a loving way).Diego has been able to study Spanish, French, Sign Language... we recently moved abroad and it made his integration so easy as he is so used to be surrounded by different cultures/languages. This has given him a greater appreciation for different cultures and ways of life.It has been a wonderful experience for my son, and I am grateful for all that he has learned and accomplished there.

I can't say enough about this school. My son begs to go early every day and gets upset if we pick him up before the very end of the day. He is learning Singapore math and other academic methods that my friend's kids learn at the most expensive private schools in Manhattan. (He does math for fun with sitters - because the school makes it as fun as telling stories or doing plays, etc.) He is learning languages and music - which I know also enhances brain development. He is almost reading on a 2nd grade level (in 1st grade). And he loves it all!! Anneliese is a fabulous way to extend childhood while also preparing them for the world of tomorrow. Anneliese teaches free-thinking, creative problem solving, self-confidence, curiosity, and the love of a learning challenge --- all things that our kids will need in a world where AI/ ML may take the burden of rote jobs. I feel Anneliese is teaching our kids to be able to create solutions while also being inclusive, mindful humans. (Plus, the kids eat home-cooked meals, much from the Anneliese farm -- and they then beg for salad at home. (Not kidding.))

It’s been a wonderful experience I know my child will treasure forever. It’s not only preparing her for her future academic pursuits but it feels like a second home.

Anneliese is a truly unique environment for children to learn in an environment that fosters creativity, individuality, and respect for others. By building a child's sense of freedom and expression, they develop a voracious appetite to learn and make connections across their studies.

I truly can't say enough about Anneliese Schools. I have been a parent of three Anneliese students and I continue to find this the best investment of my money. The highlights: the speak French, Spanish, German, and sign language and have a real appreciation of other cultures. They serve organic based lunches and snacks (and this is included in tuition)! They take gardening class, do cooking class, learn to knit, exceptional art program, loving caring teachers, etc. The children really love it and they are getting a fantastic education. I couldn't ask for more.

This is by far the most phenomenal school we have found in Southern California, including LA and OC. The curriculum is top-notch, the teachers are outstanding, compassionate and nurturing. They challenge the children while also working with them where they are individually. My daughter started here, and has gone from being super behind to in the top of her class, and speaking French and Spanish, as well! We then brought my son here, and he is coming out of his shell and flourishing, as well. I couldn't be more impressed with our experience here. It is a magical campus with green gardens, organic hot lunches, art, music, hand-work (sewing), and they are exposed to French, Spanish, German, Italian and Japanese.

The Best School to really learn, where you are supported to learn. Where you are always respect it for who you are, as child and as a human been. Where you learned to love to be and to develop all your aptitudes and creativity to help you throughout life, with courage and with a free spirit, yours. It s the inspiration for my daughter Galiza, that was taught there for 7 year till we move back to Spain and for me that I had the placer of teaching there for the two years in the after school programs and to meet Annelieses as a teacher and as an example to be a teacher, a great teacher. Thanks for all her love and the teachers that my daughter had;Miss Cristi, Frau Inga, Miss Anne, Frau Marlenne, Frau Anita, Frau Margot, Frau Annelieses and all the teachers there were exceptional, the best influence for learning and teaching into ours lives. Schooling is an important part of our lives, parenting is for all your live important, you should choose the best for your kids to complement there lives and to become self confident and independent, with a school like Annelieses. The education that Galiza received it s been the best choice for us without a doubt.

This school used to have a focus on quality education. Now, if you are visiting teacher from out of country, your hired. The teachers in general are completely sub-par. The main focus is German due to the schools origin. There isn't any supervision on the playground. Bullying is tolerated and most of the staff in the office are not qualified to perform their jobs. Our children attended for a few years and they are behind in math and english skills. After constant reporting of bullying, the staff only took notice after legal action was mentioned. One 5th grade class went thru 3 teachers in a single school year....... Not recommended!!!!!!

We are entering our 5th year with Annelies this year. My daughter has attended the Aliso and the Manzanita Campus. We found not be happier with any school. The curriculum of global awareness, love of the earth, art and music, healthy eating and personal accountability is amazing. Not only does my daughter love to go to school, she loves staying longer for one of the many after school classes- gardening, kniting, french cooking, guitar ect. All of her teachers and Administrators are warm and loving, taking the time to really know her as a person. Children perform and sing in two concerts a year, singing various folk songs in 3 languages and in fluent sign language with even some John Lennon's Imagine thrown in ( talk about a tear jerker). This is an amazing school where children thrive academically and socially. Considering the home cooked lunches and all of the all of the activities this school is really a great deal for the money. - I feel very sorry for the parent below who's child was bullied, I can only say in my experience this has to have been a very isolated incident. I felt compelled to defend a school that has been such a true blessing in so many ways for our family.

My son attends elementary school at the Willowbrook campus. We love this school for him. If you value art, music, language, natural science, hands-on experiences... this school has it in abundance. It is a very creative and intellectually stimulating environment. If the review below is true, I can only say that it makes me very sad, but that it has not been our experience at all. I have a very kind, passive child and have always been concerned about the possibility of bullying. I have found Anneliese's to be very nurturing for him. He loves going to school and hates leaving. The Willowbrook campus goes to 6th grade and I dread having him leave the lovely environment there!

My child was brutally beaten up by his classmates during recess time at Willowbrook campus. Everything started like a chasing game and then all of a sudden my son was on the ground with another kid. This another kid "called for help" and six other kids "were helping" by kicking my son's stomach and head. NO ADULTS were present during this nightmare. Where of all the supervisors were? Discussing the latest TV show? When I am writing this I am so angry I can't even tell you. I was so worried about the possibility of internal bleeding, the bruises were so bad. Later on they've expelled one of the students (who was kicking my son on the stomach ) This is the second student that was expelled in 5 months in a third grade. The reason? Of course, bullying. Go ahead, ask their administrators how many students left in 2011-2012 school year and why.Of course, we left the school right away. I regret we did not do this earlier. As I found out, those fights, kicking and punching were regular things what kids did on the playground. Most parents have no clue about bullying and what's happening at school. That is because the biggest rule of this school is " To make parents happy"
