My son was in special needs class. Did not work much on learning education but only teaching health living. I could have done a better job teaching. Then towards the end of the year I got call DPS. All special education students who are in school district got evaluated by DPS. This is no way of treat a family like that.

Vail has some excellent educators, but questionable leadership. Not much support for parents or staff. Too bad.

This school has not been very cooperative in evaluating children with special needs. I have been given the run around and bad or little information regarding the rights of special education/disabled students. I feel bad that some educators have NO CLUE to legislation pertaining to education. I had to seek an advocate and other resources on my own to let the school know what their responsiblites as educators are. I had to chose one star as my rating because half or three quarters of a star was not an option.
