This school is not for children with learning disabilities. They have nothing in special education that will help your child advance. They don't want to have to deal with these children.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this school. The principal, the faculty and the staff all go above and beyond for every student at KCS. Academically, as long as the child participates, they are prepared for high school and beyond. The teachers use technology as well as hands on learning for each grade. In 8th grade Algebra and Earth Science are offered so students can sit for those Regents Exams in June. The teachers use Smart Boards, I-Pads, and Nooks in the classrooms. Every student is treated with kindness and respect. If you are looking for a private school in this area, I would highly recommend this school.

I would like to think that this school has improved since I attended many years ago, but I do feel compelled to describe my experience as a student in this school. I received very little academic or social support from the faculty and staff at the school during my time there. I was frequently mocked and bullied by the children of faculty and was always penalized while the bullies would get away with their cruelty because of their relationships with staff. I never understood why until I looked back and realized that, because my parents worked to put me through school instead of volunteering or donating money, my safety (physical/emotional) and success were not as valued as those of my peers. When I transferred to public school (I begged my mother to let me because I felt so miserable at KCS), I was significantly behind my classmates in math and science. I feel that my secondary education and my social skills definitely suffered thanks to the lack of support I experienced at KCS. Maybe they've changed since then, but I would warn any parent sending their child to KCS to be wary of nepotism and to seriously consider the more judicial environment offered at the local public schools.

Our son entered Kingston Catholic this year into Pre-K. I had heard so many great things about this place, it is such a shame I didn't start our son there sooner. With in DAYS, I saw a HUGE difference in my son. His talking, his manner, and all of the things he has learned are phenomenal. We are so super impressed with how my son is cared for there. We know dropping him off every morning that we can go to work and know he is safe and secure. Any questions I have, they are immediately answered. The communication is outstanding between a parent and the staff. Our son often asks for his teachers on the weekend too! This was the BEST choice we have made for our son and we are excited to see what the future holds him for him at KCS!

My daughter entered Kingston Catholic School as a 6th grader and the transition could not have been any smoother! The kids in her class (and other classes) were very warm and welcoming and she said her first day was "amazing!" She loves her teachers and has gotten involved with many activities including guitar, soccer, dance, glass art - just to name a few! She recently participated in a Read-a-thon and also helped collect spring clothing for the People's Place. She also collected donations for a new house for homeless veterans in Kingston and for Muscular Dystrophy. She is excited to go to school and gets her clothes ready the night before! As a new parent at the school, I felt immediately at ease as the office staff and the principal are very friendly and professional. They go out of their way to help you and your child make the transition. I even got a phone call from the parent-teacher association president to ask me if I had any questions that I wanted to ask another parent. I thought that was fantastic!!! I am very satisfied with our new school - I wish we had come sooner!!!

Love this school. I have a high achieving seventh grader and a special needs 5th grader. KCS is able to provide an outstanding educational experience for both. The teachers are caring and motivating. And Mrs. Albert, the principal is wonderful.

Kingston Catholic School is a wonderful place to grow & learn. There are many wonderful programs and activities that my children have the opportunity to be a part of all in a nurturing environment. I highly recommend this school to anyone in the area.

My husband and I transferred our two boys to KCS this year. We felt they weren't getting everything they needed to thrive at our local public school. KCS has provided the structure, social support, and true academic standards we were looking for. Since September, I have seen a noticeable change in the boys' focus. They come home every day telling us about classroom content. The curriculum at KCS supports true academic rigor based on students' needs and high expectations. Positive, engaging staff make all the difference. The KCS faculty fosters a safe and happy sense of security that allows students to be eager and interested learners. My husband and I agree that the tuition for KCS is the best money we've ever spent. As both a mother and an educator, I highly recommend becoming part of the KCS family.

Kingston Catholic School is family. I am always welcome to help in any way I can and always welcome, even when I have asked for more than I can give. I visited the Catholic Schools in the area and felt at ease with Kingston Catholic . No matter how crazy my life gets with deadlines and obligations I want to dedicate any time I can to the school, because I feel that my efforts are appreciated. My children are happy and the teachers are loving, caring and competent. I know that my children are safe and that they are learning how to be patient, intelligent and thoughtful members of society. The Principal leads with grace and honesty. She is an integral part of the Spirit of Kingston Catholic School. I believe in her abilities whole-heartedly. The families are hard working and strong in faith. I have made many friends over the past few years and know that the families at Kingston Catholic have many of the same ideals that my family holds dear. Our children are growing together with a support system of like-minded families that can only improve their chances of surviving the disturbing breakdown of social morals and standards. God bless Kingston Catholic School.

Kingston Catholic School is a Catholic School unlike any other in the area. The Principal is an exceptional leader. She is strong and knowledgeable, practical and dedicated. I have every confidence in her. The teachers are terrific examples of Christian values and have the patience and training to guide our children to life of intellectual and faith based success. I believe that my children are learning to be good people and are excelling in their academic studies as well. Kingston Catholic is not a superficial atmosphere of politics and religion when it suits ones needs. Kingston Catholic is a heart warming, faith building atmosphere that helps children realize that God is our focus and that all things are possible with the help of God.

Kingston Catholic School is a warm, family friendly environment, welcoming and accepting of all students and families. KCS offers exceptional educational programs, a multitude of extracurricular activities, pre-care and aftercare, as well as community service and outreach programs. The Kingston Catholic School Family Organization works closely with faculty, students, and families to organize family events, fundraisers, and field days all in order to strengthen the sense of community. KCS is my son's home away from home. He enjoys learning, making new friends, and is very comfortable at school.

I could not have asked for a better choice for my son. He was struggling in public and a private. I was told to get a diagnosis so he can get special ed services. There is no diagnosis to give him other than he is now an 'A' student thanks to KCS's staff and amazing commitment to each child as an individual. He is becoming a true independent learner with self esteem and a whole new outlook on school. My only problem with KCS is that they only go to 8th grade. I dont know what we will do without them but I know my son will be prepared to move on and be a success. Too bad for those other schools. They missed out.
