We absolutely love Good Shepherd. My daughter was having severe migraines in public school. The minute she started at Good Shepherd there were no more headaches. The small class sizes are great and the teachers are amazing. Everyone knows everyone. The principal does double duty as both a principal and a teacher. This gives him amazing insight into the students. Good Shepherd is the best thing to happen to my children. We highly recommend this school!!!

My daughter started at Good Shepherd in January the 2013-2014 school year. The first time we visited, she immediately loved it and wanted to switch from the public school to GS. The teachers have been wonderful--good discipline, and lots of love and caring also. She has been learning so much academically. The curriculum and instruction are wonderful! But more importantly, she is growing spiritually. It is wonderful that she is learning about God in ALL of the subjects. The teachers, staff, and principal are all wonderful examples in their Christ-like attitudes and behavior. Small classes are a real plus--lots of individualized attention. Last June, my daughter begged to go back to GS for this school year; and she has frequently asked that we keep her here until the end of 8th grade. We feel so good about her being at GS every day. This school is such a blessing!!!

My daughter is currently a student and loves going to school every day due to the amazing group of students, staff and families! I would HIGHLY recommend good shepherd and feel blessed to have my child taught by a staff that cares for each student and the community.

Good Shepherd is a wonderful, nurturing, environment for any child. The teachers don't teach for a big paycheck, they teach because they truly love the kids and love God. There are lots of schools in the area. Kingston City Schools are not a safe environment. There are other Christian/Catholic schools, too; but none is like Good Shepherd. The curriculum is excellent and, from my own experience, both my boys have outstanding academic skills and knowledge. My oldest is now in Coleman Catholic and has a firm foundation for moving ahead with high school, and on to college. Don't underestimate this little school. They have a lot to offer!

After enduring a horrible experience with public school a dear friend referred us to Good Sheperd Christian School. My kids had begun to hate school but after they went for a visit day they had such a great time that they begged to be able to attend. As soon as you walk through the doors of the school you feel welcomed and safe. The school utilizes curriculum that is proven in excellence. The school participates in several areas of extra curricular activities including sports and community service. My children are excelling academically and thriving spiritually because the staff genuinely care and go above and beyond for every single student. Our hearts are committed to GSCS. We will never go back to public school.

This school is amazing. I have two kids that love this school. The facility is homey and up to date. The staff is caring and top notch; they go out of their way for every student.

My son is currently a student at Good Shepherd. We love it there. The staff is knowledgeable, approachable and friendly. The general education these children receive is phenomenal. No common core here at this wonderful school.

We are so happy we made the decision to send out daughter to Good Shepherd! The teachers and staff are so wonderful. It is like one big family. I don't worry about my daughter when she is there. We love Good Shepherd!

Good shepherd Christian school is an excellent learning environment. The warm sopportive staff looks to the whole child and their development. Accademically emotionally and spiritually Students are challenged with their interpersonal skills and encouraged to be both respectful and appreciative of others. I am thankful My grandchildren attend and their specific learning needs are met

My children have been going to this school for over 7 years. During this time several very good teachers have worked here but the good ones never seem to stay long. The school has continued to deteriorate over the years and most recently has been providing education via movies. The academics and sports programs are pathetic. Don't be fooled by the Christian name. The beliefs are only loosely based upon biblical teachings. The only reason we have stayed there so long is because the city of Kingston schools are unsafe. because of gang activity.with
