Our son started here during the 2020-21 school year. We have been very pleased that he’s been able to attend in-person class for most of the year, with only a few days of remote leaning due to Covid! The school came up with a very good strategy for on-site teaching for kids that cannot be remote, even if there’s a Covid outbreak. Also, kids (and teachers) can be remote any time without having to miss class.... that’s a great benefit! Many schools have struggled with this, but FA really came up with a great plan during this pandemic! With what is being taught in public schools today, we are sold on a Christian education. We have been very impressed with the quality of education our son is receiving. The classes incorporate God’s word into their lessons, even math and science!Fellowship is a small school, but big enough to offer a diverse curriculum with a very nice array of extracurricular/sports activities! My son has guitar class, but also has been able to play 3 sports. Also, Fridays are “enrichment” days where other clubs and class projects can take place. The tuition is very affordable in comparison to most other options in the Arlington area. We believe that it’s well worth the cost!

Fellowship has been the best "thing" to come out of Covid for our family. We had plans, the reality is, God had other plans. We found ourselves stuck in online school and needed another option. My students is a people person and needed contact with others. Fellowship not only offered in person learning when we needed it most, they offered my student so much more. The flexibility to switch to online learning at the first sign of a potential Covid threat eases my mind in the balance of my student needing to be around other kids and their safety. The teachers embraced us during our mid-semester transition and my student is all the better for it. Being apart of a larger school (to us it is larger) allows my student the opportunity to have a more diverse academic and athletic education. Catering to the needs of the student is top priority for Fellowship. They arranged classes so that needs were met. I am so grateful for the opportunity for my student to join and graduate from Fellowship Academy!

I can't say enough amazing things about Fellowship Academy!! If you are interviewing and researching schools, make sure you don't skip over Fellowship. Our daughter started school there last year during 9th grade, and the experience she has had since has been incredible. The teachers and staff have such patience, kindness, genuine care, and put in so much effort in to help the students academically and emotionally. Our daughter was struggling before, and with the positive atmosphere and environment at Fellowship she has made A/B Honor Roll every quarter since and has done so well on all of her exams. She loves school again and is talking about her future again. She is excited about applying to colleges and dreaming about what she wants to do with her life. We had not seen this side of her in so long. It has helped heal her and our family. She is genuinely happy again which has been the greatest gift of all. We have loved Fellowship so much that we chose to move our son over this year for 9th grade as well. We are so grateful for all of the teachers, coaches and staff at Fellowship. They are amazing and they have truly helped our children excel.

Fellowship Academy has been a blessing to our family. We love the community atmosphere there. The staff loves our children and supports our family. Most of the staff have or have had their children at FA as students. We are committed to keeping our children here long term.

I was a student at fellowship academy for 6 years. Once I switched from public school my 5th grade year, I thought that fellowship was the best thing to ever happen to me. As the years went on the Christian facade of the school began to fade. They preach about how they look at everyone equally but that is simply just not the truth. Not only was I judged by almost every single staff member at this school I began to push away from my academics because I hated going to school every day. I wanted nothing more to get out of that place as soon as I stepped into the building every morning. I began to get very depressed and cry in the middle of class occasionally because I felt very out casted and felt as if the administration looked at me like a black sheep if you will. I have never been more appalled at how much more mature I was then the adults here controlling how things work at fellowship. There were maybe 3 teachers in that whole school from 5th-11th grade that actually taught me something. If you make one mistake at this school you will be persecuted till no end. I was barley pushed by any teachers and I am now going to public school next year and have to get tutoring so I can catch up on academics. No real Christian morals played out by those preaching it to you here and no actual learning goes on.

I was a student at this school for four years. The classes are small and teachers are willing to individually help students, but there are no good points to it other than that. Faith is shaky at best. Different teachers follow different denominations and there are a few who outright step outside of the Bible and draw their own moral lines (and consequently push them on their students). There is far more focus on sports than anything else - it greatly outweighs STEM and the arts. Students are no better or more well-behaved than the students you'd find at your average public school. Keep in mind that Christian parents sending their kids to a Christian school does not mean their children follow the same faith; most of the people I knew were atheists, and a vast majority of the kids who claimed to be Christian hardly acted like it. Coursework is nothing. There is no academic challenge to be found here. Socially, there is still a boldly defined line between rich children and those who can barely afford to go to a private school. My family wasted an absurd amount of money on this school and I could not be happier after finishing high school elsewhere and moving on to college.

Wonderful, warm environment~ a Christian school that really walks the talk. Lots of ministry opportunities for kids. I have a masters degree and have worked in public schools and can say, the academics are on point. Curriculum is appropriate and they offer opportunities to take higher level courses if a child demonstrates ability. This school is well rounded and balanced~ character building, good academics, and lots of fun activities.

I love the school. I came in junior high and i'm currently in high school. The teachers have taught me a lot about academics to valuable life lessons. All coaches encourage a love for their sport and my team mates lift me up. My love for God has grown since entering. I've been blessed with the ability to attend and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Fellowship Academy has been a huge blessing to our family. The administration is accessible and helpful, the teachers are attentive and plugged in to the students, and the kids and families are relatable and friendly. The curriculum and academics are on or above level. To the commenter that said their child were 2 years behind- I can't imagine allowing my kid to fall 2 years behind before intervening. It's likely there were other issues at play. The classses are geared appropriately and the kids experience a love for learning. We've seen other local private schools and none compare to Fellowship with respect to staff, friendliness of families, and overall good value for the education you're getting. We can't say enough good things!!!!

Our son attends Fellowship Academy and love's it. We enrolled him starting in 3rd grade. Our son attended public school and the teacher's never had time to help him or give him additional attention if needed. He has been a straight A/B student since beginning FA. We live a 15 to 20 minutes away and there are mornings we are very close to being tardy but because of the outstanding Staff, Parent's, student's and the love and compassion of Mrs. Collier and volunteer's it makes it worth the drive and stress of the traffic getting there. We would follow FA to the moon if Mrs. Collier asked us too. This really has been a blessing for our son. I would like to address a comment about the school not being biblical. My son knows the bible front to back. I am sorry that parent felt that way. You have to teach the Bible in all areas of life not just expect the school to teach your child. It must be taught at home and as parents we must set examples too. God Bless FA....We love you.

I have a 7th grader that began attending Fellowship Academy this year...I cannot emphasize enough of just how this school has changed my daughters life for the better! She went from doing OK academically and had only 2 friends at the elementary she attended to having nearly all A's and having lots of great friends!!! The personal attention each one of her teachers has totally changed her outlook on school and life in general!! And the best part is they are actually allowed to keep God in their school....totally amazing! Soooo thankful God lead us to this phenomenal school......

I went to this school for several years, and I am so thankful my parents pulled me out because I was way behind in my learning there. The teachers provide no challenge for you, and they practically give you whatever grade that you want. Others have left only to find that they are actually years behind their actual grade level. It would work out better going to a public school because it is free, and you actually learn more. The principal and her assistants all play to the tune of her fiddle. The staff there is ridiculous. If you love your kid and want them to actually do something more in life than be ignorant, than you DO NOT want to send them to this school! And this is coming from a student who witnessed this all first hand.

My two childen attended this school and when we left due to horrible teachers and a administration staff that was totally incompetent we found that our kids were almost 2 years behind. If you are wanting your kids to attend college this I s not the school for you.

My kids range in age from Pre-K to 8th and they all love this school. Fellowship is truly their home away from home. The administration and teaching staff are genuine, involved, caring and truly interested in the best education for every student. Like any school, there are lots of differing personalities and backgrounds and students are not always perfect. However, the students are taught to respect one another and show kindness, compassion and forgiveness one to the other. There is an over arching sense of unity and family that is felt throughout the school. I feel my children are not only receiving a great education but also learning how to be good friends, colleagues and citizens. I am truly blessed with the opportunity to send my kids here and encourage you to look into it if you're considering a school for your children.

If you are looking for a quiet environment for your kindergartener this is not the place. We were very disappointed with the lack of classroom management. Your child will be exposed to the same behaviors as public school. There is also no technology for the children to use. :(
