Both of my children attended JCS upon our move to Florida. One has gone through k-12 and the other 4 -12.My husband and I were pleased until 7th / 8th Grade. The Lower School was a loving and caring environment and the teachers were great. Once in the Middle / Upper School , everything changed. I cannot even begin to tell the absolute mess that the Upper School is. I know I am speaking for just myself , but please *know there are many others that have had the same experiences *. I am going to share hard facts here, with no exaggeration. - More teachers that I can even believe are unhappy there. The amount of teacher turnover is immense. Also, which surprised me very much, more then a handful of teachers blatantly shared that they were way underpaid and unappreciated, and shared this continuously throughout the year. This is NOT the kind of information that should be shared and the negativity reflected in our children's views of the school. One teacher even shared that she was well off enough to not even have to work so the terrible pay didn't matter, she was only there for the love of the students. - Turnover of President, Principal and Vice Principal is unlike anything I have even seen. ( We have two older children that went through NJ and PA school systems ). This is a huge problem for JCS. There was a serious issue at the end of the school last year. We were told the student would be placed on probation ( last day of school ) only to find out that he was never disciplined at all. - Teacher and Faculty students are 100% given special treatment, and get away with little to zero discipline. Please hear me when I say this. This is FACT. - PLEASE hear me when I say this. JCS does *not* abide by the laws in place for Anti Bullying (Florida Statute 1006.147, also known as The Jeffrey Johnston Stand Up for All Students) . My daughter was aggressively bullied in school and online by a male student *leader* over the course of 2 years. We followed protocol in reporting. We were told that "he's a good kid". We were told that my daughter was "over reacting" . Guidance never even took time to follow up. She became a different young woman, She was humiliated by this student during classes and then also by a teacher. Meetings with the Principal and President were shocking. ** NO ONE CARED ABOUT MY DAUGHTER**. I was bullied by the President himself ( wish I recorded )***. ( I filed police report ). Please, PLEASE know these are facts.

Wonderful school for my two sons, one in elementary and one in middle. We started this year and are thriving. A close-knit community with teachers that genuinely care about their students. I love having them all in a faith-based environment with a focus on Jesus.

Wonderful faith based school. I have sent my three sons to JCS and am proud of who they have become as people and am grateful that the school has provided a well rounded education.

I would never recommend. I only have 4 good teachers at this school over my five years there as a student and only 2 friends out of the 950+ that attended when I was there.

Some of the teachers work hard to challenge the students, but others don't challenge the students at all. Unfortunately, there's no universal expectation. The staff is gossipy and judgmental. The parent groups are cliquey. My children left with plenty of knowledge about worldly behavior, but very little school-based training on how to own or share their faith.

Absolutely wonderful experience! I have been so blessed by the unity of teachers, leadership, staff, and parents. The students are taught to really value each other and God. The academic standards are set at excellent. My children are valued, loved, and challenged. It is a joy to partner with JCS in the education of my children.

Jupiter Christian School has become an extension of our family. Our daughter has been attending for three years now and we simply cannot say enough good things about the overall experience she is receiving. The staff takes the time to know my child and to genuinely love on her every day while teaching her a quality education. She is focused, engaged and actually enjoys being there! Learning is fun because of the caring people involved. The Faculty and staff choose to help her learn both from an education standpoint as well as a life’s worldview. Relationship is important, and virtuous character traits are taught through example and practice. Adding to her education, my daughter has several chances to be involved in various clubs and activities outside of school - whether it is art, drama, sports, robotics (STEM,) etc., she has plenty of options to choose from. As she gets older, there are even more places and groups she can plug into. Community Service Club is a definite on this Momma’s list! I cannot wait for her to have practical opportunities to serve both locally, nationally and internationally. The slogan “World-changing education from a life-changing perspective” is evident in this school. Each child learns that they can make a difference in whatever sphere of influence God grants them. We love the focus and attention to God’s word and to glorifying Him in all they do. And I especially love that I am able to participate in the education process for my child. The campus is welcoming to Parent volunteers and show their support and appreciation.

Jupiter Christian School is amazing. Our children started in the Pre-K classes with Mrs. Ruh and Mrs. Figueroa and they are simply the most loving and supportive teachers I have ever met. The teachers are so creative and have been with the school for many years and really know how to work well and engage these young children. The Pre-K program also offers Music, Library, Art, PE, and Spanish classes once a week. My children come home with beautiful artwork they are proud of, singing adorable songs, words they have learned in Spanish, PE moves and stretches they want to show us, and stories of exciting books they have read or stories they have learned at school. We receive their deskwork each week that shows what they have been learning. My kids know their letters and numbers, their home addresses, the days of the week and months, how to read a calendar, bible verses, proper annunciation and grammar, table manners, can recognize their written classmates’ names, etc. My kids tell me how much they love their teachers and I can tell that the teachers really do loves their children as well. The lower school principal and supporting staff are all so kind, supportive, loving, and patient. They work with the children with their different learning styles. The teachers and staff communicate very well with the parents. I cannot say enough how much I love this school and what a great job they do with the kids. My kids are excited about going to school.

We could have attended any private school in the area and chose Jupiter Christian School. As a matter of fact, we interviewed and toured many of the most prestigious schools in our area and Jupiter Christian school was by far the most nurturing, family oriented, faith-centered, well-rounded, down to earth, school we visited. We made the best decision to enroll our child at JCS and it has been a blessing to our child and our family. They nurture the development of the whole child including celebrating their unique personalities and allowing them the freedom to be who God intended them to be. The relationship between the parents and the teachers is incredible. We also love the fact that the school has a legacy that spans over 50 years which is definitely something to be proud of.

I give Jupiter Christian a 5 Star rating because it is one of the few Christian Schools in Palm Beach County with an unshakable reputation in the community, an anchor set firm in Jesus Christ and Biblical Principles, Small Class sizes (12-13) with Teachers who are 1st class and actually love your kids. I would recommend Jupiter Christian to anyone even those with the highest standards for a Private Education. Jupiter Christian is a bright shining light in this world of darkness and will undoubtedly prepare your children to be leaders in the world for Jesus Christ.

I leave JCS shortly after 5 years attending the school. Could have had a few more facilities but the love that I have received from the teachers has far out weighed a larger playing field. I shall miss the school and Mr Vorlicky as I am sure will a lot of other people after he leaves this summer. God bless you and thank you for making me who I am.

While many things could be said about JCS, it is from my point of view (A middle school student's) that many things need to be worked on to improve this school. Academically? I myself will admit that since Dr. Coleman has came, he has made beneficial changes to the curriculum. But, some text books are over 20 years old (Although that is not terribly uncommon in schools) and all-in-all, the educational value is nothing great. Most teachers are helpful and over all, kind. But, though my parents and several others have emailed and even personally confronted the staff, the situation with student bullying is horrible. This is one of the clique-est schools you can find. Everyone has their own group of friends, and if your child isn't "cool" enough for their standers, then get ready for neglection and quite possibly teasing and bullying. Im not sure how this situation will progress in the future, but right now, it shows no sign of stoping. If your child does managed to find their way into a group, they will have to alter what they like and who they want to be. Peer pressure is a powerful thing.

Our son has been going to JCS for 6 years now and loves it. This made our lives so easy as we had moved into the area from SC and knew no one down here. Very friendly school, great wrestling coaches. Lacks in some areas but my sons safety means more to me than a swimming pool or drama stages. A good choice we think for any one coming into the area. Oh yes and did I say its a good Christian environment ?

We were recommended the school from a patron of our Church (Christ Fellowship) two years ago and we are really pleased with the way our daughter has been tutored. Although not many children in her class she has made some good friends, which has been great over such a long break!! Miss Jackie on reception is a superstar! We all love her.

My son and daughter both go to Jupiter Christian School. My son took a while to settle in but after being there for 7 months he is very happy. our daughter settled in within a month and is also very happy. On the downside we had a re-enrollment fee ($1050) for the two of them that i feel should have been included in the school fees but otherwise we are glad we moved our children there. We have come to like the President Dr Colman and found his methods logical and measurable which is a good thing in today's day and age. My son has joined the drama classes and performed in a play they put on recently, a year ago he would not have had the confidence, thank you. Some reviews here do not appear to be of the same school that we have come to know and respect but you can not please every body I suppose. Special mention for Mr Vorlicky, Mrs Hrynkiw and Mrs Loud you have all played a major part in our children's welfare and bringing out their true personality. Oh and Mr Powers you really are scary but very well respected for good reason. Go Eagles!

I'm not impress with the school at all. Academically? you can take your child to almost any public school in Jupiter and those schools will offer you the same or better curriculum and , of course, a lot better extra curriculum. Socially? The kids have their own groups and if your child is lucky enough she /he will be accepted by those groups. We experienced behaviors such as teasing, taunting, and intentional exclusion. Talking to administrators , teachers and parents, didn't change the situation at all. Christianity? They can pray, they can teach it, they can go to church, but their own heart don't seem to be lead and guide by the spirit of God. Any good about this school? The location, the building itself, the gym, and also few good teachers.

Great teacher involvement. Academically good. Christian education. Honors and AP classes. National Honor Society. Zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol. Our kids love it there. We have one who is very strong academically and is succeeding in AP and honors classes. We have another child who struggles a bit and the teachers are always attentive and meet with us or email us if there is any problem. No bullying policy. Students who do not act appropriately are asked to leave.
