Saint Nicholas has always been a great school and a part of my life ...since i was a student in the 80's. It was the only choice for me when choosing a school for my two boys. It's a place where everyone knows your name. The principal is very active in the daily student life. She has worked very hard implementing new security systems...better than many public schools! The teachers are great. They are nurturing, disciplinary and provide a well rounded education. The only reason we are not returning in September, sadly, is due a long distance move. I will certainly miss the school as will my boys. The community of parents and students is also outstanding. A truly friendly and caring community!

My son began last year at St. Nicholas in 5th grade as an international student. Everyone has been very supportive in helping with his academic transition. School staff and other parents included. We feel grateful and proud to have you in our lives. Thanks.

I have one daughter attending St. Nicholas and am looking forward to next year when my youngest daughter can attend as well. It has been a fantastic experience from day one. I was worried my daughter would come back disappointed - she came back with a smile, asking if she could go again the next day. Now several years later, she goes each day enthusiastically - never complaining. When we pick her up she has stories to tell us of what she learned and did. The teachers have done a great job getting her involved and to break out of her shell. She used to be shy, but now she tells us how she is involved with class, participates and answers questions. She surprises us all the time with new things she has learned - one day it was telling me what time it is, other times it was reading words that she could not read just a few weeks before. We work with her quite often, so we see the progress she is making without our assistance. Also, because of the size of the classrooms, the teachers really know the students and can address their concerns with us. When we pick her up, her smile says it all. VERY PLEASED.

New Pre K parents BEWARE!!! 9/13 -- our 3 year old daughter started Pre K3. She turned 3 a week prior, and was obviously young compared to peers. After touring the school and being assured her age wouldn't be a problem (as long as she was potty trained), we signed up with a downpayment, purchased uniforms and other materials needed per instructions. We did our best to make her excited and followed all the instructions, even taking time off work for both parents to help with the transition of drop-off and pick-up. On Friday of her third week, we got a message hours before pick-up time stating that the teacher and principal needed to talk about progress. Upon picking her up, we were informed that she was not ready for Pre K and she will not be attending the school anymore. At NO TIME during any of her previous 3 weeks were we informed there was a problem and she could possibly be too young to continue (no reports biting, hitting, etc). The other reviews may be correct regarding to the school, but if you enroll in PK beware that your child could be kicked out with literally no notice - especially if you work and need to make other arrangements mid year for your child!

This is an excellent school. I have 2 children attending St. Nicholas. It is nice to see them learn, grow and be excited about school. The Principal and teachers are very caring and so involved. They are truly focused on providing the best education. I love their approach to education. The school teaches using technology. They have extra curricular activities and sports. The children are set up for a successful future.

I love this school! My kids are learning so much and they love every minute of it. They're very hi-tech, they have smart boards in every classroom and internet connection, aside from 2 up-to-date computer labs, I'm so impressed! I can say they teach very much in the 21st century but the love, care, and attention for each individual student is still very much there.

Esta escuela tiene un excllente curriculun y a la vez la capacidad de integrar nuevos estudiantes de diferenentes precedencias. El padre Kevin, Sister Ellen, el personal administrativo y los profesores son dedicados a los estudiante.
